France plays strong defense and is great on set pieces, that seems to be a winning formula in International tournaments. That first goal was BS since Griezmann flopped and the second was a bit harsh.

Everyone talks about Mbappe and Griezmann but that French backline is superb. They are just so strong and very decisive in their clearances.
Croatia never had a chance, playing open football. France apart from the CF position are ridiculously talented.

lmao Harry Kane has to be the worst Golden Boot winner ever. Who else is in contention?

France has Varanne who is just 25 and has won 4 champions leagues and a World Cup so far.

He was appointed at Croati temporarly because was one of rhe few avaiable but then a series of wins followed and stayed as a permanent coach of Croatia. It’d be great to have a WC winner in balkans just to put our region on the football map.

The Balkans are already in the map, especially Serbia ad Croatia.
