That's what it may look like, but simply not true.

FIFA was doing a lot of money laundering in the US. They were pushing their luck thinking they can bring their Europeon corruption to the Beautiful.

Leave it to the United States to bring some justice into FIFA.

Refs will think twice about disallowing them a goal in the World Cup.

IDK, not like they are allowed to leave the house though so it can't be that bad.
That's because they wear sexy bikinis inside.

WC shouldn't be hosted in a country with no history or culture of the game. We know once the games are over the Qatar stadiums will be probably be demolished or turned into massive parking lots like what happened in Brazil. Anyone with a sense of logic knows Qatar would have been the last option for most people but ofc that's where the bribes kick in and we know FIFA is all about that $$$.

Not saying they shouldn't be hosted in smaller or lesser known countries(I actually think it's unique) but atleast host the game in a country where the stadiums will have some use after the games and won't ass rape public funds for building gigantic stadiums. If they wanted a muslim country host the games in Turkey, want an Asian country host it in China or India, want some unique country try Columbia.

The WC taking place in Winter though was never part of the bidding process. Those fuckers were talking about air conditioned stadia before the bidding process.
lmao. Air conditioned stadiums... A good way to get votes, I must say.

1) Lot of those workers are basically getting enslaved into making those stadiums for one. So it's immoral.

2) It's set in Late November to Late December. WC is a June/July event, so you are changing tradition.

3) You are messing with league schedules. Are players who play for the EPL/Bundesliga/La Liga supposed to take a month off in the middle of their season? Or are the leagues supposed to just take a month off, kill the rhythm and start the season again? Or will the good players stay put, and the shitty players will go to Qatar to play for their nation?
- Note: They didn't have the WC 2022 planned November/December when the voting was going on. That happened after they won the votes.

4) And it's still going to be hot as fck over there. So hot, that they are thinking about implementing a timeout system so the players can rest up.

5) Qatar won by blatantly buying votes.

They just need to stop this "Fair Play" farce and let the most qualified nations host. If you want an Asian country to have the WC, don't do it in the Arabian deserts.
