Manaj equalises against Fenerbahce with 94th minute pen.

Wins it himself after great run against 2 defenders but looked like a bit of a dive... good job anyway though.

Other than that, I watched the second half, he looked quite good and much faster than usual on the ball and making runs in behind, he was pretty alert today which is unusual for him.

He continues his great performances against the top clubs of Turkey.

Remember when Mourinho said Kumbulla was no better, and actually way worse than random Norwegian leaguers?

You are seeing it first hand now.. cannot even get minutes for relegation side Sassuolo. Full out bench warmer!

Game is 1-1 and slip outs of his hands 1-3 while he keeps Ferrari parked on bench..

Get him on and give him a chance! Down in front of the home fans, you need something dynamic!

I do think Mavraj's performance during that 2016 campaign was better than any campaign Gym had or any defender we've had. I remember him carrying us in that Armenia match on one leg (after his father died) which is one of the best performances in NT history. He never really got the credit he deserved as Cana would always get the praise despite him being washed up by the time that campaign started and a liability.

But his peak was very short for us.

Asllani plays for the biggest club but he still too young and needs to grow physically and mentally that's why he barely plays. Ismajli too error prone, injuries have killed Broja and Kumbulla, Hysaj is very washed, Mitaj is not even a starter in Russia, etc..

Djimsiti is literally the only player that you can trust.
Djimsiti is just as error prone as Ismajli..

Did you see how he passed it straight to Thorsteinsson 1-1 in Iceland?

Djimsiti and friends were eating 3-4 goals a game against any decent opponent before Ramadani took over in midfield. There is no comparison between him and Mavraj..

Is Mavraj your cousin or what
A player who was half his career at Bundesliga 2 and the other half at relegating Bundesliga sides better than a player who is the best defender at a top 5 Serie A side which every year makes significant runs at European competitions
Mavraj was great for us(Albania level)
Djimsiti is a top 10-15 defender at the world atm
Best defender in the world?? Djimsiti is not even the best defender on our team! That’s Ardian Ismajli 🦁

Djimsiti is soft! Listed 6’3” but have you ever seen him score with his head? Buddy was losing aerial duels in the box to Moldovans half his size. He is one of the main reasons our aerial game and set pieces are so pathetic..

Mavraj had more heart both on and off the field, where he spoke his truth regardless of who didn’t like it! He was one of the main reasons Albania cracked top 25 while beating the best teams in Europe (Portugal, France) holding them scoreless.

Who Djimsiti beat?
