That’s just a lazy ass excuse.

I’m all for it. Quality will be better.
Only Turin/Milan clubs when they used to visit Sicily/Sardinia ,Napoli and viceversa , but thanks god most Serie A is where it belongs to “The North” . Germany, Spain , England and France have rounded shape geography so they have mostly 4-5 travel time by bus.

With Albanian roads and mountainous terrain it'd take like 10 hours of driving to get from Vlore to eastern parts of Kosova.

Maybe they could do a North American West/East thing.
It wouldn't take 10 hours lol. Both countries have built up their highways.
It takes already 5-6 hours from Vlore to Mitrovice.
And that's near the most southern part of Albania to the most northern part of Kosovo. Imagine Kukesi vs a team Prizren (that's like 20 minutes).

Ademi is saying only if Albania and Kosova get unification which won't happen.

Me personally I don't think it will happen because there's too much politics behind it. Serbia and UEFA will obviously never allow it to happen. I also think the two league won't like it because fighting for a European spot will be much tougher as it is and less chance for teams to get their little prize money after they get knocked out by some team from Luxembourg.

I personally think in the long run it would be good as it will create a more competitive team. Just taking the 3-4 best teams from Kosova who have the biggest financial backings and putting them in Albania will improve the play of the league. But I think we still need another 5 years of the Kosova league to develop because it's still so new and raw.

I think maybe a joint cup with the winner taking a European spot might be a good idea to get some some interest. I also think the cups for Albania and Kosova are a joke anyway.

The Netherlands and Belgium are considering merging their top-flight football leagues to form a new cross-nation competition, i understands. Such a move would be a radical attempt to curb the growing domination of the “big five” European leagues and change the balance of power in continental club football.
