Baggio is one of our top players and a HUGE reason we qualified. His goal in Prague is one of the best in history and the catalyst for our qualification bid. That really gave us the belief and momentum needed to overcome both of the big Slavic teams in Tirana.

Big game player! Albania needs him at his best for EURO finals..

Bajrami can play at an amateur level or at a near world class level. Truly astonishing. You don't know what you're going to get with him.

Bajrami back from the dead with a goal and assist. It's against Salernitana but still important for their relegation battle.

The most inconsistent player ever!

Ylber Ramadani leads the Serie A (1st) in dribblers challenged, 2nd in total blocks, 5th in interceptions, 5th in dribblers tackled, 5th in tackles + interceptions, 8th in tackles.

Absolute menace in midfield! ❤️

The reality is though come next summer he is probably going to sell at double figures, especially if he comes to the euros.
Nah teams with money are not stupid like that. Scouting is too advanced nowadays.

But you're right that Manaj needs the whole team to work for him to get easy chances and that's not realistic for Albania. He's actually a lot like Hamdi Salihi. I think he's best suited for the top clubs of small leagues like Qarabag, Partizan Belgrade, etc.
Same time I think you underestimate how hard it is to do what he's doing there. We have many Albanian attackers who have played seasons there, not least Cika, who has never even gotten close to having a season like this, and others (for example Muci who isn't that great so far). Playing for a team like Sivasspor and competing with Dzeko and Icardi in goals is impressive.

Just because he isn't a good fit for the NT doesn't mean he's a bad player. For us though, he has to run more if he wants to play as a starter.

Horrendous performance from Daku should have been a hat trick at least
He misses two open play goals against only the keeper before scoring and one after
Manaj is better than him ATM that's the bitter truth
Manaj may or may not be better than Daku but I worry his big character could cause the team to lose harmony. These last 2 losses felt like the Reja era all over again. Bare and Manaj clan back together, Daku and Muja not with the team.

Manaj had a couple decent chances against Chile. Any good big man slides into that ball from Bajrami and also a great cross from Seferi where he couldn’t get on the end of it.

Unfortunately, that is all the chances you get playing for Albania. Other than that, he was pretty invisible for 70 minutes. Could just be an off night but either way, not a good look for him.

If there are only 23 spots, I do not see how you take him over Daku if both are playing regularly for their clubs. Daku contributed to qualification with a goal against Poland and an assist against Czechia. More than Manaj has done for Albania, in just a fraction of the playing time.

26 spots, I can understand it..

Manaj would be loved in Belgrade, they love Albanians from Albania over there.

Manaj should have had a hat trick today.

He is a good player, he is just very lazy and therefore isn't very effective for us as we don't create many good chances, you have to work for them. The most frustrating part is he can be so much better when he runs and works hard for the team.

I saw the goal and thought the same thing. There is no way he gets that space v the Euro teams, and even if he does won’t handle the pressure to score. The striker position is made more complicated than it should be. It’s Broja first, Daku second. Cika will be in the Euros and will probably get some minutes, but he’s gotta retire from the nt after the Euros. Post Euros we’ve got the Shpendi brothers and even Cuni who should be ahead of Manaj.
