We've been rotting as a society for 35 years. The transition from communism was severely mishandled and it's gonna take forever to recover if we ever do recover, which I highly doubt.

Alban Bushi stating that Albanian youth football training is non-existent and that young players don't know the basics of playing. Another coach/player after Starova saying the same thing.

This is coming from one of Duka's own puppets.

Just watched the first half of our U17 against Croatia and they all look like children against men. I could not see any promising players to be honest.

Something I noticed though is that the players look very italian and you could hear more italian in the stadium than albanian, since most of the supporters were players relatives.
So, it feels like we lost a bit of identity as well.

Albania and Serbia are huge favorites to co-host an u-21 tournament.

It would guarantee automatic qualification (first time ever) and would force investments in infrastructure for sure.
Per cfare infrastrukture po flet? Kampioni i Shqiperise U19 po lun me 6 lojtar te huaj e po na flet per infrastrukture. Shqiperia nuk ka femije qe lujn futboll, Shqiperia osht zbraz edhe ata pak qe kan mbet e kan anderr me ik jashte shteti me bo naj shpi bari apo me u marr me trafik kokaine. Mas ketij organizimi te perbashket me. Ju mundeni me kan krenar me bythlepirjen qe i boni Serbise ama mos harroni qe serben gjithmone kan me ju pa si krijesa inferiore.

I watched last 30 minutes of Bylis vs 2 Korriku, it was really beautiful game. Bylis was physically superior thanks to african players, not sure if they are 18 and it's ridiculous to use five foreign players on european youth competition game but that tells more than anything else about work with youth players on Albania. 2 Korriku technically were superior to Bylis level of resilience and fighting spirit they showed to win this game was unbelievable.

Dallku wrote: Sat Nov 18, 2023 4:07 pm Yeah FSHF tried to groom Salihi, Bulku, Bushi and even other former players like Lala into being coaches but it never worked. Too amateurish and they are part of the "loser generations" who not only never came close to qualifying but they were happy with humbje dinjitoze.

You can't have people like that teaching the new generations who have a different mentality.
It has never worked. The only former player I can think of that has been an below average or average manager is Hasi. All these other guys get handpicked managerial positions without actually going through the ranks and gaining experience.
