Man City turns into a whole different team when Rodri is active. They fell off big time when he got hurt..

Strongly disagreed with the backlash when he won Balon dOr over Vinicius.

Rodri is coming back from a big injury now but was the best player in the world before he went down!

I actually don't even think Asllani is ready for a CL finalist like Inter. He should be in a mid-table team for the time being.

But these last 2 games from what I saw, he was definitely not the worst person on the pitch, but even one of the better players. But that's just Inter playing badly.

He's never the worst player because he never makes mistakes. It's like he plays to not make mistakes rather than to help the team win. He did have 1 nice cross to Lautaro that hit the post and also had a couple shots from long range that didn't hit the target. That's not enough danger being created. He exaggerates with the amount of sideways and backwards passes and I don't think it's all tactical because he often ignores runners who are asking for the ball. He needs to be braver because he's way more talented than he shows.

The team scored after Asllani because they threw everyone forward at the end. Nothing to do with them "playing better without him". You had 1 corner from Lautaro Martinez doing a bicycle kick, and 1 last min goal where the entire team went inside the box.
And let’s be honest no one cares about it, they’ve all just finished a long season where they lost the CL final and all the europeans just wanna be at the beach. Just for money for fifa

Inter fans seem to dislike him.

They are not like Albanian fans who are just happy with backwards and sideways passing. They expect to have the ball so they demand creativity and compare him to high level creators.

And what's annoying about Asllani is that he's not good defensively to be playing the way he does. He needs to be creative or else he becomes useless.

Next game they start Iniesta again and were down 0-1 against Urawa Reds until they subbed him off in the 72nd minute scored 2 quick goals and won..

And he made no mistakes at all. Probably 99% passing accuracy if I were to guess.

Unfortunately he will only be judged by his creativity. Just playing it 'safe' all the time doesn't cut it at a club like that. He's a master at playing safe but they want him to create chances and show more personality.

Yeah, they just don’t see enough impact or confidence yet, especially in a role that demands both.
He shows more confidence for Albania though. He scored a couple of goals as well.
Anyway, we are not Inter, so we don't have the luxury to discuss about him. We have more problems in other positions.
