Key player for Ajaccio in promotion to Ligue 1 and starting EL group matches with Sparta. Laci would run through a brick wall for Albania! He is playing with the most talented generation ever but would have been a starter any other era..
He started a few games a couple of years back.

I've long suspected, football will go the basketball route of trying more shots from distance, especially against bus parkers. If we become the "shooting team", you bet all the data analyst people will start convincing their clubs to do this shit more often.

It's crazy but we've had 4 games in a row with absolute screamers. This is not just luck anymore. It's a pattern.
in football it’s the other way. The whole premise is shooting 3s is more valuable than a layup etc . In football long range shots are harder and are the same value, so we’ve actually seen less long shots over the last few years.
It's not about it being worth more, but since Greece 04, parking the bus has become the norm for a lot of teams. The best antidote is long range shots.

Basketball used to be way more physical when it was all about 2s. Then GSW happened and the whole game changed. Shooting 3s was seen as just a lottery type gimmick.

This team goes from struggling to score a goal and playing like some Serie B relegation side under Reja to now changing the way modern football is played lol
