Honestly it's probably a technical reason like that. And in Mehmeti's last game for the nt he was very ball-hoggish. He refused to pass the ball. Sylvinho probably took that the wrong way and doesn't value him.

For Albania It's a problem because the attack is an issue. The front 3 of Hoxha-Manaj-Broja are not giving you anything. They are even struggling against Gilbraltar and Latvia.

Silvinho has always been a fraud. He’s probably even worse than Edi Reja at this point.

He’ll play to secure a 1-0 defeat in Serbia and count it as a victory. We’ll see sugar Ray out there getting bullied and destroyed. Broja will be played out of position as a winger again. Serbia is such a slow and oversized team but yet he won’t play somehow find a way to play slower than them.

What a disaster this campaign has been.

Official reason given by Silvinjo in the press conference is that we have left wing covered. Looking at the list, there is Hoxha and Bajrami at lw. This time Muci is not there. Often times all 3 are called up at the same time, so this time with Muci being dropped, deff no logical reason not to call up Mehmeti. Also total bullshit about left wing reason as Mehmeti can play right wing too. He’d rather play Broja out of position there again and Asani as backup. There is a lot of fluidity in modern football where a player like Mehmeti for example can play lw, am, rw with no problem, so deff feels like the Mehmeti issue goes way deeper than this.

I'm not even sure this is coming from him. Mehmeti has been one of the most outstanding players in the Championship so far, there is no way any sane manager will deny him an invite over Superliga players unless there is something else going on.

It is 100% some kind of conflict.

Either way, whoever is responsible for it needs to go.

Play an amateur like Manaj who in his prime is playing in UAE. Muci has been benched and not given many chances to play. I get Bajrami and Asani were on fire during the Euro qualification so it made sense to bench Muci but now there is no more excuses not start him. Talent wise they’re the best players we have so if you’d rather play with scrubs then I guess you’re on the other side of the spectrum man. Good luck with making the World Cup in 20 years…if ever.
This version of Broja is a terrible footballer and doesn't look serious at all, reminds me very much of Arber Zeneli after coming back from his 2nd ACL injury.
