I don’t think anyone realistically wants to join with Shqiperi in Kosove politics. It would mean split Kosove in half with Serbia, untill there is no control in the northen part and those areas get assimilated/integrated into kosova’s system then there will be no union.

I know people here and on XT were mostly fans of Kurti. Most/all my family like him as well.

Cause it's a pipedream. You can't just randomly join 2 independent countries in today's bureaucracy.

Who gives a crap anyhow. The concept of countries is becoming less and less relevant in face of globalisation. PMs are more like glorified mayors.

1% difference? That's too close for comfort.

Recounts with corruption can swing the decision.

I really like Kurti's stance with Serbia. From what I heard there's gonna be no negotiation with Serbs unless they apologize for the war atrocities they committed and offer the victims money. Then negotiations with Serbia can start (he's against any land swap). I personally like this and I don't think we should be having any dialogue with a country that still doesn't think they did anything bad in the 90's (in fact they'll claim they're the victims). It's definitely risky but it's kinda smart since if Serbia wants to join the EU they'll have to settle the Kosovo issue...

This is how I feel. I see no need to play games with Serbia. They are so fckin delusional and need to accept the truth once and while.

Either way Kosova needs to continue their efforts to progress and never flirt with the idea of giving up northern Mitrovice

It’s perfect , outsiders want us to “settle” our differences but little do they know that’s not gonna happen . We ourselves don’t care what they think so as far as we’re concerned they don’t exist . Focus on ourselves as Albanians and screw them
