First and only time you'd catch me going for the Swiss.

Aha they're my team now. Croatia being a close second. I screamed my lungs out for the two Albanian goals :)

Serves those cunts well for booing very time the Albanians touched the ball.

Looking at these highlights, Serbia plays much more like Albania, than they do like Croatia or even Switzerland. Those teams have their goons, but they also have a lot of technical prowess.

Serbia just like Albania relies on goons to outmuscle the defenders or boss them physically. When faced against a fast pacey player like Shaqiri they couldn't cope with his pace/technique. I would put Greece in the same category. Just pure anti-football.

And it's baffling because Serbia has some legit talent, they're way to talented to play hoof ball. With us and the other smaller teams in Europe you can understand why we bunker. A team with Savic-Milinkovic (despite him being very overrated), Matic, Ljalic (Albanian in denial), Kostic, Kolorav, etc, shouldn't be whipping in crosses and hoping that Mitrovic bullies the defense. Switzerland absolutely dominated them possession wise.

As for Shaqiri he was fucking amazing today. Say you want about the little bear but he came up big. He was fighting to get in places where he demanded the ball, he was orchestrating the attack, taking defenders on and putting shots on frame. Not only that but he's not afraid of the big moments. He just needs to have the same hunger every game. He's basically what Argentinian fans demand of Messi lol.

And LOL at Leichensteiner doing the eagle with them at the end. And I also lol'ed at that midget Serb midfielder who flinched when Embolo was about to push shit in.

I always thought the GK position was overrated but watching this World Cup made me realize the importance of a steady and confident one. Although Berisha makes his fair share of blunders you have to be happy that we'll have him and Strakosha for the next 10 years.

It is poetic. Serbia lost to Albanians who are only playing for Swiss as a direct cause of what they did.

I would have liked if Valon scored.
