I would love if Croatia won the WC. Kinda scary how good a ex-Yugo team would be. They'd be by far the most talented team in the world imo with only a population of what 15 - 20 mil?

Eh, I personally don't want any "smaller" teams to win. I still have dreams Albania is going to fluke their way to a win one day. This would kinda take it away :D

With an expanded field of 48 teams I'm just praying we qualify in my lifetime :(

I know this is gonna sound petty but how mad do you think Serbs are right now? Seeing Croatia reach the final must be tough for them to swallow.

Did you guys know Croatia's coach used to coach Dinamo Tirana? Imagine that, a World Cup final coach that used to coach in Superliga :rrokullisem:

Dalic doesn't seem like a bad coach at all. He had a pretty good record in the Middle East before being appointed according to his wiki. I thought he was some amateur coach Croatia because he had connections or something.

Dalic actually seems like a cup winner rather than a league coach. Won Albanian cup with Dinamo. He was appointed at Croati temporarly because was one of rhe few avaiable but then a series of wins followed and stayed as a permanent coach of Croatia. It’d be great to have a WC winner in balkans just to put our region on the football map.
