Well it depends. Sometimes, yeah, you'd get a small group of tough teams. But Armenia, Latvia, etc... existed back then too.

Back then you were required to beat great teams to qualify. Yeah bad teams existed but beating them didn't do anything. Nowadays that's not the case.

Nations league is the biggest joke. It's a matter of time before Luxembourg and teams like that qualify.
It doesn't change the fact that they were never able to progress to at least a pot 3 team pretty much since they were established up until 2015.

Beating bad teams did do something. You get into a better pot, and in turn it increases the chances of you getting an easier group next time. Of course if you are losing to Georgia and Belarus you will never get close to qualifying.

What I wanna know is what happens if Kosovo wins the group and qualifies through Nation’s league
Nationals league kinda killed my interest. I still don't know how it works and never even bothered.

Kosovo doesn't take part in the Nations league's K.O stage if they manage to qualify through their qualifying group. The 5th best ranked country in league D takes Kosovo's spot, which is Luxembourg, lol.

The nations league is a good change to the meaningless friendlies the countries used to play.

Football has evolved and improved tactically and small teams are very organised nowdays too. If a team like Luxembourg manages to win League D then they probably deserve to qualify for an euro tournament. By the looks of it, it's still very hard because while the best 4 teams of league D move to next campaigns league C the 4 worst of the later move to league D.

Albania nearly ended up in League D. LOL
That's a example of why the system is flawed.
The gap between D and C is huge, so much so that a team like Serbia is in C.
If a historically good team in League C does badly one NL campaign in League C they have a easy Euro berth next time.

If Kosova qualify through the groups then it is a huge achievement.
Would feel so much more authentic and would make the world take notice.

Yeah that’s a pile of bs imo, teams like Luxembourg or Georgia gonna end up qualifying after ending the real group stages barely winning any points . On the other hand is there anyway albania can qualify apart from these groups now ?

Albania has 0 chances mathematically to make the Euros through nations league. We are the last of our group and league that was not relegated.

Honestly they do have a chance against the Czech away with a full strength squad.

Honestly now I wish we were relegated so we'd have a chance to qualify through Group D for 2024.

It's a mockery that league D and even C teams are able to qualify by beating teams of their level.

Qualifying through groups is much more authentic, challenging and deserving.

To qualify for Euro 16 Albania had to beat Portugal away and draw Denmark twice while obviously taking care of business against smaller teams(Armenia). That's deserving of qualification imo.
