One good performance and he's the most talented Albanian prospect ever and the next he's a scrub. We have Bushi calling Vrioni the most talented striker we've had in history, then the hyping up of Muci, Kallaku and any youth player who can somewhat control a ball.

We don't need him to be a Chelsea star. He just needs to be a decent overall striker and he'll definitely be that atleast.
When are we gonna start seeing some good performances though??

It's always bad performances with Albanian players.. even the ones we are hopeful for (Broja)..

It’s broja’s second professional start. He’s a talented player for sure but we need to give him time. I don’t even know how you can judge a 19 year old after his second appearance. For him he’s a bit different than the cekici kind because many scouts view him highly.

My complaint is for the other guys that get incorrectly overhyped. Like Vrioni was overhyped for no reason. Cekici, kace, etc.

You can't say that and then wonder when they are rotting on the bench.

Bad performances matter because that's what puts them on the bench and keeps them there.... then eventually they sign for 2nd division teams and you wonder why.... That's the story of most Albanian players.

A player doesn't have many chances unless he's already established.... then he can afford to have bad performances. For someone like Broja who's looking to make it into professional football bad performances are no good because he's fighting for a place on the first team.

For someone like Hysaj bad performances are whatever because he's already established. That's because he rarely had bad performances for empoli where he had to be established... get it??? There is a difference.

Kumbulla another example of this...

He's established in professional football because he rarely had bad performances for Verona.... at age 19.

You guys need to stop these bullshit excuses.

I think you have a tainted view on football . Not many 19 year olds perform to a high level , that’s special .

Calm the f*** down and let Broja develop , think of the best strikers in the world and look at them at 19 . You’d think he was 24 and barely performing , give the kid time

Like the guy has played 59 mins and scored one goal , you’re acting like he’s played the whole year and stunk it up

Yeah, 90% of the job of a defender is to not f*** up. Strikers make risky plays, and fail often. That's not to excuse bad plays, but those two positions are incomparable. Strikers can play badly the entire game, and still be MOTM because 1-2 moments. Defenders must be stable all game.

You gotta have something to compare to... Apart from generational talents like Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, etc... most strikers haven't progressed past what Broja is doing now.

The guy hasn't even started a professional football game yet...

Making a safe pass is not a risky play. It's not like dude missed a chance after creating an opportunity or dribbling or winning a duel or something... We're talking about not being able to do the basics. You can still have a bad performance and show glimpses of potence but he showed none of that.

Guys... Young players have to impress if they want to make it to professional football. That's how it always goes.. They don't wait for you to turn 24 and then try you out again. You have to impress while you have a chance. 19 is not young... this is a make or break age for a lot of players.

You either have it or you don't. "Late peakers" do exist but they are rare. If you depend on that then good luck..

He still hasn't made a professional start in his career... Turned 19 this month.

The guy does not even have 90 minutes of professional football under his belt, and already has a goal.

He scored a shitty rebound goal but was underwhelming in both matches. Do we want the next Bekim Balaj or a potential top 4 league striker?? If he has Balaj expectations then fair enough.
