Bajrami was pretty dominant against Roma in the 2nd half. Of course they were down 0-4 but if he consistently plays with that kind of intensity he can be good enough for teams of higher caliber. His stats already look impressive.

They actually have a pretty good team. They just don't have a striker. Even Manaj's replacements are wingers.
Manaj is easily the worst starting striker in the whole league btw. And it's not even close.

They are not. Striker Nzola (11g 4a last year for Spezia in Serie A) has hardly played a minute in the last few months. Similarly they bought some young French striker for 5m from Toulouse as their record transfer and he doesn't play either. He earned his spot and the trust of the coach and it is what it is. Not exactly a glamorous job but most people here said he won't play a minute in a top league.
We can keep saying goal statistics without contextualising them but the reality is playing for a catenaccio coach in a defensive league for a relegation team, the strikers are more 'first defenders' than attackers. Winning fouls, defending and fighting is more important for this team then making nice dribbles. I think Spezia this season were the first team to win a game with no shots on target since 2006 (vs Napoli, lol)

Manaj is on pace to overtake Bogdani as our top scorer. 6 goals in official matches by age 24, and showing great improvement of late.
Who knows if Bajrami will even score 6 goals in his whole life for Albania..? I’ll put my money on Sugar Ray to end up with a better NT career.

You better hope a ST scores more goals than a AM.Princ wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 8:38 pm Manaj is on pace to overtake Bogdani as our top scorer. 6 goals in official matches by age 24, and showing great improvement of late.

Broja played well yesterday, but still no goals against any big league CL/EL level opponents. Bajrami is cleaning up.

Assume the goals on higher level countries will come soon enough, considering that he has just entered his prime.
Without Manaj, Albania plays in Nations League C again this summer. Won a huge penalty in front of 40k Polaks too.

Manaj was literally suspended by Reja for poor performance in the past few games. His NT days are numbered, especially now that Albania will be playing against professional teams.

Leaving Manaj out backfired..
The other super professionals could not even score on Andorra, who had to get scammed into a 1-0 loss via penalty so that Albania could finish 3rd at home.
