Its well documented players like Granit and Shaqiri are only playing for the Swiss because of that corrupt old cunt Duka

If that was true they would've switched to Kosovo just like Valon Berisha did.

or did Vokrri ask them for a few bucks too?

Seriously, players have always and will always choose the stronger NT if they have the chance to play for it. Especially big talents... especially nowadays that patriotism is not as strong/dying.

Sometimes these players make excuses because they want to be in good terms with fans. Shaqiri, Xhaka, Abedin, etc said that FSHF is corrupt so they were waiting for Kosovo. Kosovo finally got accepted and then *crickets* from these guys.

100% of diaspora who currently play for Albania are all rejects who couldn't make it for other nations, particularly Switzerland. Abrashi, Xhaka, Mavraj and list goes on.

Same with the diaspora that currently plays for Kosovo with the exception of Valon Berisha who's literally the only unicorn in this phenomenon. Then again Norway is pretty dogshit so perhaps it was easier for him to switch. But keep in mind that not even Fatos Beqiraj switched to Kosovo.. Hadergjonaj waited for a while for Switzerland before he finally gave up.

Some fans are in such denial about this though.

This is absolutely spot on. From Cana's interview though, I think we may have had a legitimate shot at Granit though. He referred to him as the one who "we truly lost out on."

However, Duka's role in losing out on certain players cannot be denied. He truly is a cunt

Watching the 2nd half of the France-Albania u-21. This Broja guy is interesting. His touch aint all that bad.

Other than that it's a hard match to watch. The inferiority complex Albo players with is annoying. Sure the quality difference is big but they are absolutely terrified. San Marino plays with more confidence.

They couldn’t because they’d appeared at major tournaments

In typical fashion they concede two goals in the last 5 minutes. Hopefully the senior team does a little better on Saturday and only loses 2-0.

Bushi said that Broja will be world class and we are lucky he's Albanian.

Not if England has something to say about it... we saw how they were thirsting for Januzaj before he decided for Belgium.

FSHF need to start capping kids who show "special" potential in the senior team. It's not like there are many of them. The future is more important than the present right now.

A 18 year old kid called Armando Dobra will be named on the bench for Ipswich next game and is likely to start games sooner or later too.
A lot of English Albanian kids who show a lot of potential.
We really need to be capping these talents before they shine and inevitably get picked by another NT.

Nothing will change until the fixing mafia will be offloaded from FSHF. While is Duka in power the football federation major objective to keep Armando in power by all costs. There is no employer of albanian federation who is qualified for his job, they have all just one quality they a**lick Duka. The coaches of u21 u19 and u17 can get sacked if they do a "wrong" statement in the public but they will never lose a job for terrible performances and results. You can't make albanian oligarchs happy and have best youth selection in same time.Nevil Dede for example is most failed coach ever in albanian football, failed everywhere where he worked, he was accused for corruption at Tirana from Fanatics. They were claims Irfan Hysenbelliu bribed Dede to sign Hysenbelliu and to play him at Tirana. They only thing Dede did all his life was supporting Duka by all costs and got the U19 after he failed even in the women soccer.
