There are countless clips of his individual defending though. He was 1 v. 1 so many times with Dybala here. Those tricky/low center of gravity players are the most difficult to mark in any ground/non-aerial situation.

Speaking of Kumbulla and Juventus, Verona beat Juventus 2-1, right after tieing both Milan and Lazio :D Kumbulla was ruled for an offside goal too.

Kumbulla was very very solid in this game. No mistakes, good passing, did Dybala dirty on a 1v1(he has his number it seems), and even offensively he had a goal disallowed and won a penalty for them which won them the game. He'll get high ratings.

Napoli will be wanting a refund for Rrahmani. Ronaldo took his soul on that goal.

I'm telling you guys, if our worst defensive players are Serie A starters who've played in Champions League knockouts like Hysaj and Djimsiti, we're going to get a world class defence soon. Just knock on wood there's no injures or locker room issues.

Tonight there were scouts from Man City, Dortmund, and Frankfurt tonight there. Earlier in the week ones from Man Utd and Chelsea were also there.

I hope he doesn't go to EPL tbh. They play way too open. That style is going to ruin him for international football.

I don’t see a reason why kumbulla should leave Verona this soon, providing they don’t get relegated. It works out well for him to remain for another year of top level competition and consistent playing time, before hopefully making the jump to a bigger club..

He needs to play in a more open system (although EPL is TOO open imo), where he doesn't rely on the system as much. He's still young and adaptable so he needs to make the switch as soon as possible, so he doesn't become a system player.

The older you get the harder it is to adapt to different styles. He's turning 20 in a few days, so he's not a teenager anymore.

Problem with these top clubs is that they are ruthless. He can have 1 bad game and he gets benched next week.

At this point in his career play time is the most important thing. Honestly a club like Lazio wouldn't be bad.
