With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

Peshklu qelbet nga koka. You can't compare the English FA with FSHF which is way more powerful vis-a-vis the domestic clubs. There is plenty that an FA ca do to help develop domestic football from the training of coaches to the youth development. All one has to do is look at Icelandic FA and what they did for their domestic game to see what FSHF can potentially do.
Mema works for FSHF, the piece is just designed to take the blame away from FA.
An FA is not SUPPOSED to "develop" football. That is not their job. They are event planners/organizers for football activities and nationals teams in a country and are overlooked by their bosses (FIFA/UEFA). Every investment FSHF has made for football (stadiums, pitches, etc) is out of pity and charity. They don't HAVE to do any of it. They should all be private investments like they are in the developed world.

Albania lacks culture as it pertains to sport, no sense of nationalism instilled in population, open borders, etc. Less of the youth are interested in playing football than ever before. When talent is produced, they go sprinting at the first chance..

You’re mistaken, that is part of the FAs job. They’re the ones responsible for developing grass roots football.
FSHF and the owners are too blame. But it is FSHFs responsibility for the development of football and that hasn’t happened.

That's bullshit. Clubs directly invest in their academies and eventually profit off them.
The Croatian FA has nothing to do with Dinamo Zagreb developing supertalent after supertalent. Neither does the Serbia FA when Partizan or Red Star do so...
What does the English FA have to do with Chelsea or Manchester United academies?? Absolutely nothing.
Albanians always looking for the easiest excuses in order to avoid accountability and face a bigger issue.
What I don’t understand is that there is serious money to be made in youth development and selling them abroad. The Croatian and Serbian teams are good example. Even smaller clubs like Lokomotiv Zagreb or Osijek have a track record of selling players and making profit.
This should be the incentive for Albanian clubs especially the Tirana teams where majority of the population lives. The fact that the best player the Tirana teams have developed over the years is Muci is pitiful. The smaller cities I understand because they’re so poor and their populations have been decimated that I give them a pass.

They’re supposed to work together , you’re talking with a lot of confidence with little idea.
What does the English FA have to do with academies ? A lot actually, they’re the ones that develop grassroots club that give kids their first clubs, they’re the ones that changed the whole way academies work in England . They’re the ones that train coaches that work with kids from young. Not the clubs.
It’s then the clubs responsibility to build the best environments and they help with the development of football. But it’s the FAs job to develop football.
The government is more responsible for grassroots than an FA. It starts in schools.. The activities they do there and culture that is being implemented.
Pretty sure FSHF is not the one destroying football fields to build buildings.. The government is.
Albania has the most anti-sport government in Europe and invest absolutely nothing for it. Even Kosovo is way ahead in this area.
Physical fitness of school going children is an area that is overlooked in Albania.
Most of the schools do not even have a proper field or gymnasium where the students can play. A sense of nationalism is not instilled through the education system, either.
Albanians must be taught to take pride in helping one another for the benefit of their nation. Without nationalist sentiment, there is no going anywhere.
