It’s a third tier league final in two years time. At least they’ll be using the stadium for something. Most of the time it’s empty, our teams can’t afford to use it because of the costs and they can fill it very few times ,maybe only in derbies.

On the bright side, Albanian teams will have extra motivation to aim for the final

Actually the 5th place from top 5 leagues will go to conference league. We could get let’s say Inter, Napoli, Roma, Tottenham, Mancherter Teams , Borussia... at least 4-5 top teams in conference league will be top tiers.

So its officially confirmed now, Air Albania Stadium to host the final of the first edition of Europa Conference League on 25 May 2022. Awesome i guess

Albania vs. France was a bigger match than that. We should have gotten an EL final at least.

Doubt a 22,000 seater is eligible to host an EL final. I want to see us host an U-17 or 19 Euro. A lot of random countries have been hosting it lately

If this took place in Kosovo you better believe Kosovar fans would be excited af and treat it like they a CL final.

Albanians need to chill with this elitist mentality. You can't go from the bottom straight to the top. This is still better than nothing.. it's recognition and the final of a first ever competition so still pretty cool.
