One of the albanian clubs playing in the Macedonian first league. A club with great football backgroung in the albanian football of Ilirida. KF Shkëndija was founded on 1979 in the city of Tetovë by albanian youngsters. The main aim of the club was to join albanians in a team because they were discriminated during the Jugosllav regime. The team won the lowest league of Jugosllavia in 1979-1980 being then promoted in the third league. During the 1980-1981 season, Shkëndija was promoted directly to the Second League . All this positivity and albanian union around the club frightened the comunist regime of Jugosllavia who acted by shutting down the club . After the Macedonian indipendence the club was refounded and finally won the mayor league by winning in the season 2010-2011 the championship with 16 matches won in row. By now the team has won a championship and a supercup. As we speak the team is reanked 3-rd with 30 points after 17 matches in the macedonian first league just 8 points behing the leading team Vardar .

Indeed , they have another matchup in three weeks i think . Textex vs Shkedija is a derby . Kudos to Ballistat , they have all my respect and are an example for other albanian fan groups.

i hate leagues like macedonia's where there are playoffs. just have the team with the most points at the end of season win the league.

This team has a very beautiful name. I watched their game vs Vardar today, wich they won 3-2 playing with a man less for about an hour too. The thing I disliked was the amount of fyromians they have in their team.

Idrissou was waste of money, they could signed Elis Bakaj and Vangjeli with money they spend on Idrissou.
