I'm the taliban now? And you call me stupid?MadMan wrote:Honestly, how old are you? You sound ridiculous.KF.KORAB wrote:If we let this happen then what's the next step? Stopping in the middle of the game and praying? .MadMan wrote:Tragic. Albania for the first time in a major tournament, and the talking point is Mavraj and Islam. Have people been watching him just now? We all know Mavraj is the fanatic in the squad. It's not a big deal he refuses to wear a training top to be honest. If Birra Peja has a problem with it than it is a different story, but people shouldn't let stuff like this get to them.
You actually sound just like one of these talibans/jihadis with your stupid insults and ignorant statements.

Would love to see this:
France
Albania
Romania
Switzerland
Per inaty I want the Swiss to be last, coz many times they have taking the piss out of us and seeing Shaqiri dropping out of the tournament will be the icing on the cake (I think that's the correct expression) lol

Lool at this topic. Bravo Mavraj for not wearing the shirt and not attempting to influence youth to do something you would not do through advertising.
No need to discuss it in detail.

This was not that long ago though:

I agree with what Aurora Bulkualis said. The fact that he pubblished it to the facebook wall he made Birra Peja a publicity because most of us didn't know there was a birra peja
If he would've done that without showing up it's his right so bravo to him . I don't like the comments in web against him though , not that he did something bad at all. He is a good guy , we should respect him and his choices indiferently from what religion we come from.

Almost all western european clubs or national teams have Christian symbols. FC Coln has the stamp of a goat over "the duomo" (church of the city). By that logic even players like Shaqiri shouldn't play for Switzerland.KF.KORAB wrote:
Not your business, and i don't mix religion with sport especially if i was a professional player.
By his logic noone of muslilm players should join Real Madrid since it has a christian cross at the top of the logo

I find it interesting that every time we discuss Janullatos and how he usurped the Albanian Orthodox Church you brush the issue off as some old fart who will die soon but God forbid "jihadi" Mavraj does anything in accordance with his religious beliefs you get very upset. Hmm I wonder why is that.Aurora Bulkualis wrote:Dude no offence, but you have no idea wth you're talking about. It's like saying Enver Hoxha who banned Islam did it because he wanted to be European. All religions are cancer, but that's not the issue here.artan wrote:Also the fact he's muslim and some of you want us to have this clear image to the rest of Europe that we're european too! Newsflash, they don't give a f*** if your atheist or muslim
If an atheist NT player kept saying God doesn't exist in facebook/instagram posts every time he joined NT, you'd all have your panties in a bunch and would complain about how he was offending other religious players.
The issue is not personal belief but proselytism. Get that through your head and stop with strawman arguments.

Yeah it's not the same thing at all, having a Greek snake as the head of the Albanian Autocephalous Orthodox Church is a million times worse than an individual who refuses to advertise an alcoholic beverage due to his religious beliefs. But for some reason the former doesn't bother Owner only the actions of Mavraj, or the "terrorist" as Owner affectionately calls him, deserve his outrage.Simboli i Diellit wrote:Plako wrote:I find it interesting that every time we discuss Janullatos and how he usurped the Albanian Orthodox Church you brush the issue off as some old fart who will die soon but God forbid "jihadi" Mavraj does anything in accordance with his religious beliefs you get very upset.
