We will have to see. They bunkered against Faores, albeit with 10 players, imagine when they face the likes of Croatia or even the shitty Ukraine and Turkey.
I foresee a repeat of this :

I think the team's still too "new" so the players will need some time to settle down but I don't think they'll be the whipping boys. This team first and foremost will have something to prove so there's an extra motivation to perform well.MadMan wrote:We will have to see. I think this team with all its offensive fire power can at least make the games interesting and probably score more than 1 goal. I can see them upset a few teams. They are probably a top 100 team now in the world with their new additions and will improve as they learn to play together.

As Montenegro proved, you can be very good right away. The "taking time to gel" thing is overrated. Nobody has any true chemistry in international football anyway. You just need a little bit of talent, heart/spirit and good tactics.
Kosovo won't be as good as Montenegro was when they started but that's because they don't have players of the caliber of Jovetic, Vucinic, Basa, Savic, Vukcevic etc. <------ That generation declining as players is also the reason Montenegro has declined as a NT.

Not trying to be funny or anything controversial, but what's the Kosova anthem? Never heard it before.

It's a song without any lyrics. They're trying to keep the Serbs happy basically. They should just adopt Besa-Bes

It's a joke. That's what it is.
Kosova is Albania. You can try change the flag, the anthem, use the word 'kosovar', it will never work.

Switzerland released the list of 23 players called up for qualifiers...all of their "Albanians" are on the list, including Tarashaj (there was talk he was switching to Kosova).
So with the Berisha brothers of Norway not switching, and none of the Swiss boys are switching, the only country being hurt by Bunjaki is the Albanian National Team. So much for being united, and 1 Shtet 1 Kombetare.

There was never any chance for any of em to switch . Who would leave world class stadiums and a class team to go play For kosova. This should be no surpriseCantona wrote:Switzerland released the list of 23 players called up for qualifiers...all of their "Albanians" are on the list, including Tarashaj (there was talk he was switching to Kosova).
