De Biasi's getting desperate with the offense. He's calling up Liridon Latifi for the next 2 games...

Latifi has talent but he's the definition of incosistent and has been playing pretty badly for Skenderbeu recently. He was even benched today vs Luftetari. lol

And if De Biasi doesn't want him he's a douche. Lila isn't any better. Neither is Veseli. Again, we'll have to agree to disagree.
DB IS a douche. That doesn't change the fact that Hadergjonaj thing was just a rumour.

You also realize, how much their club careers have benefited from playing with teams like Switzerland and Germany in World Cups? Mustafi would probably be rotting at Lazio or something right now if he joined Albania.

^ Like Hysaj?

Clubs couldn't give 2 shits about what national team you play for. They actually want you to play for weaker NTs so you can focus on your club more.

Talent is talent. No one rejects talent.

Both are fine and will be fit in one week time. Still i would be cautious betting under 2.5 ;)
Haha, thank you, but that's not a case :)

I'm talking about reputation. Do you think he'd get scouted the same for Valencia and Arsenal if he wasn't a German international?

We keep talking about guys like Sadiku who score in friendlies, qualifiers, Euros, now Villareal, and not even Swiss clubs want to pay 1m for him. Or guys like Kace that couldn't find a club for shit even as a starter for PAOK.

^ Teams love to hit the jackpot with "diamonds in the rough". They are cheap and they mostly come from smaller countries from Africa, Balkans, Asia, etc.. Yes Mustafi is a German international but that just makes him more expensive if anything. Players from smaller countries with the equal talent as Mustafi would be much easier to buy.. That's how teams like Porto, Benfica, etc.. operate. They buy these cheap golden kids and then sell them to the big boys later on.

Honestly, do you look at our players and say "wow this guy deserves a lot more?" IMO they are all getting what they deserve based on the talent they have and the leagues they're in. Compare them to the players around them..

You think Sadiku hasn't been scouted?? I would bet more than half of Europe has scouted this man and they just don't value him. It has nothing to do with him being an Albanian international. HELL, that helps him if anything. Would Sadiku play for a better team if he was German?? Highly doubt it. For starters he would have no chance in hell of being an international.

Dude he's playing in the Swiss Second Division. That's worse than the Albanian league. For a guy who's scored a match winning goal in Euros, qualifiers and Villareal, no one seems to be giving a shit about him. If Sadiku was a German international you'd bet he'd be on a Bliga team right now (whether he succeeds or not is a different matter).

There are tons of "diamonds in the rough" who aren't scouted. Hysaj would've never went to Napoli if his coach didn't bring him there. Playing for a big international team increases your scouting prospective ten fold.

Sadiku scored that goal in the Euros thanks to Memushaj and the Romanian goalkeeper. What did he do besides that? How was his passing? Decision making? Movement w/ & off the ball? Ball hold-up? Technique? Duels vs Defenders?? etc etc. We only look at basic things like goals but these scouts look at everything. Goals can be deceiving because if the right tools are missing then there is a good chance that those goals won't translate in the next (higher) levels.

Sadiku also played in the Swiss 1st division for a couple of years and what did he do there? Naaada. He had a decent last stint for Vaduz by scoring a couple shitty tap-ins but the man actually struggled in the Swiss 1st division for the most part.

If there is no discrimination in a sport it's football... it's a fcking dogfight for everyone to find players. Everyone wants all the talent they can get and the cheaper the better. There are scouts everywhere right now(especially in Europe), no one is isolated anymore. If Albania was to produce just one decent player or two he would get snatched in a heartbeat by foreign clubs. That's how advanced and connected the football world is.

Shaqiri, Xhaka etc. haven't benefited club wise from choosing the Swiss NT. They've benefited on an economic level because of all the sponsorships they've received in Switzerland, which they wouldn't have had they chosen Albania.

Also, you say that if Sadiku played for the German NT he'd be playing in the Bundesliga for sure. That's common sense - but none of our players playing on the Albanian NT would be starting for the Germans. Besides Hysaj maybe. They're just not better than that.
