The team looked shit tbh. Israel is just even and Scotland is right along that level also. We should easily win this group. Serbia is really the only team in this league that can give us significant problems.

Strakosha's save at 0:16 was a routine one. Israel should have score if they weren't so terrible. Same at 0:47

Guri is a young inexperience player. He he had fallen down at 0:30 I think it would have been a guranteed penalty, but the ref played the advantage which he failed to utilize on.

Taulant Xhaka scored a nice goal, nothing bad to say about that. Good assist by Hyka.

I really do not know how to feel about Hyka. He is so small, and we kept playing balls into him like he'd win a challenge in the air lol. At the same time though he is one of the few players on our team with any pace.

All in all, it wasn't a great performance but 3 points is 3 points. The team is off to a good start.

Got a chance to watch the rest of the match, and yeah, this is pretty much what I've wanted for years. An Albania that can circulate the ball. This looked like the "good Panucci" from Spain. This is the complete opposite of GDB. The defenders are shaky, but the team can keep possession for more than 2 seconds.

To be honest I'm shocked that with these mediocre players we were able to keep that much possession. Imagine if we had Kace/Lilaj in there too. I think Scotland away will be the true test.

If somehow we manage to win there then we’ll just need a draw with Israel away and a draw with Scotland at home.

Saw part of the Scotland vs Belgium game. They’ve a lot of issues defensively but their midfield and wingers are quality. They’ve lost their last 3 home games and have had a long series of bad results so far just like us but against stronger opponents. I’m expecting a draw to stay positive so the team at least mentally keeps a positive attitude psychologically. We’ve had enough losses this year.

He didn't. Albanian amateur media got fooled because a fake account of Kace posted an old pic of him and Strakosha. How can you tell? Look at Strakosha's hair. He has very short hair now while it's longer in Kace's pic. :rrokullisem:

Lol @Panorama Sport . It would’ve made no sense actually as Panucci argued with journalists about Kace before the game as Kace hasn’t played this season yet.

Nevermind, Kace is indeed called up. I saw him in a video fshf posted.

This will be a super tough game because Scotland is gonna play their hearts out. They might not be technically gifted but they will run and press like hell.

Btw i was just looking at the simulations for the upcoming WC 2022 draw that takes place in Qatar. We seem pretty fucked up as it’s amost 100 % sure that we’ll be at POT 4 with 3 teams better than us.

I'm not sure how good Scotland is but on paper they're def better than us. Many of their players are playing for Championship/EPL teams, doesn't mean those players are good as Scottish players have an easy path to the English leagues but still a step above our guys who play in fringe leagues. I'm worried about their wingers as Robertson is a very good player (Liverpool) and Fraser is pacey. We should definitely sit back and not try to get exposed on the counter, let their subpar forwards beat us in the air. I'm just imaging Fraser breaking through on a counter with Gymcity 15 yards behind him trying to catch up.

And Scotland always under performs so we have that going for us and we seem to show up when there's no expectations.
