Albanians abroad

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

What the f*** is with this Cika love. He's not anywhere near Muriqi level lol.
You don't need to be a flashy or skillful player to be good.
Talk about headers and tap-ins like it doesn't take any skill to be in the correct position or to head the ball?
Cika has some of the worst off-ball movement I've ever seen for someone held in such high esteem.

He's obviously trolling. Muriqi's touch makes him look like Messi in comparison to the goons like Balaj and Cika we have playing upfront

You can say many things about Muriqi but bragging about his technique aint one of them.

This guy didn't stand out in the Albanian league playing for Teuta and Besa. Teuta thought he was so shit that they loaned him away. He was a benchwarmer for the Alb u-21 and never stood out.

Now all of sudden he's the second coming of Ronaldo...

Albanians and bandwagons man.. I swear you guys never learn. LOL

Yeah you’re defo trolling

Just like I was trolling when I guaranteed that Lorik Cana is not good enough/wouldn't sign for a top club after he left Marseille while 99% of Albanians were convinced otherwise.

Then he signed for Sunderland and a lot of people were shocked...

Cikalleshi is not a world beater but I’ll tell you one thing for sure, he’s not a joke and he’s better than both sadiku and balaj.. bring olayinka aboard and bench cika for him and we’ll be good to go. Another thing to point out is that scoring these easy goals like close headers and tap ins is very misleading, not saying this applies to vedat muriqi he’s decent but if you remember not too long ago a bin man named azdren llullaku was leading Europe in goals and all the fans at the time except me we’re singing his praises, they came down to earth very quickly though after he was terrible when de biasi gave him the chance. The moral of the story is don’t always look at goals, look at game play and it should tell you everything you need to know

Ah yeah, the European football powerhouses Teuta, Besa and the Albanian u21-team didn't recognize Muriqi's talent. The only and true measure of how good a footballer is. Lol.

Those wouldn't able to see talent even if it had dickslapped them in the face.

As of right now, I don't think there's a better Albanian footballer in the world - and if he keeps this level, he'll leave Fenerbahce very soon for one of the big leagues.

Muriqi actually played all games in that relegation Besa team. You can’t judge a 20 years old when he was starting in superliga. Muriqi will be playing for Barcelona. Shame the FSHF doesn’t have any Albanian from Kosove in their administration (at any level) considering the contibution they’ve given so far , even the Albanian government has one minister and few vice-ministers from Kosove (always had counsels from kosove though).

Cekici is on a tear in Slovenia and scoring some bangers. It looks like he has such a good long range shot. Definitely deserves a call up to the NT. Downside is he doesn't fit Reja's system unless Reja stops trying to play with two strikers.

Cekici is playing in SLOVenia , he isn’t that good physically and is a liability loosing the ball in midfield. He isn’t good enough for the NT and i’m quite surprised that he isn’t part of the Nt because his daddy is “mish e dhjam” with Duka and the FA. You could also notice it the influence they have on journalists aswell. Slovenian league is way below Croatia. He isn’t playing at a big Slovenian club like Maribor either so scoring those long range shots or some taping against some village teams doesn’t make you good for the NT.

Djimsiti gets benched and his team wins against Rome. Hysaj benched and Napoli loses to a weak Cagliari . Somehow it’s better both of them rest a while before the international games break so they’ll have more energies to dedicate to the NT.
