He's becoming a meme. He's gonna have Ervin Bulku like fame at this rate.
Roshi and bulku have nothing in common and shouldn’t be in the same sentence! Where did you see roshi becoming a meme? I haven’t seen one yet but he’s surely a killer for us.. Artan here blames the winger when the opposing team scores :zgerdhimje:..the main job of a coach in any pro sport is to put players in a position where they won’t fail, reja and his bollocks formation is solely to blame for those two goals nobody else!
Reja played him as a wing back with three other CB's, a defensive right wing back (Hysaj), a destroyer in midfield (Gjasula) and two goon center forwards. As a wingback you are expected to be a hybrid between a winger and fullback, a player that pretty much just runs relentlessly up and down and gives width. Defensive situations are expected but not like a center back or fullback and it's nothing he hasn't seen before playing as a winger. I honestly would give him another chance at wingback because I think he can be good there. His defensive liabilities can be covered by the three CB's (Gjasula and Abrashi can cover him when he goes forward too) we have and we can actually get some width.

But to say it's not his fault is ridiculous. Any other player would have been crucified by those two comical errors he made.

Gymcity is a bit overrated by us. He's had quiet a few bad performances over the year for club and country (more so for Albania). I think Atalanta's style of play isn't too friendly for center back's since they play fast and open (from when I've seen them)

He played him out of position... roshi is not a wingback or fullback or anything of the sort, he is a pure winger and to play him out of position again would be foolish.. players have positions for a reason and like I said in any professional sport the main job of the coach is to put the players in a position where they won’t fail...You say his defensive liabilities in the 5-3-2 can be covered by the three Center backs, by this logic you are inserting roshi into the lineup as a sitting duck waiting to be had, wtf is the point of that when we already saw how it played out last time and when we have veseli mihaj on the bench who can fill the spot without problem. Now if veseli or mihaj fill the spot then we are left without pace in attack, this is why the 5-3-2 doesn’t work for us

Mihaj is not a wingback or a fullback. Veseli did have a good performance against Turkey as a wingback but as a left wingback? IDK.

If Roshi can't play as a wing back he simply won't start under Reja as well. The team has looked good (besides that France match) under this lineup so to change the formation to accommodate Roshi is tough. Even if the two forwards we have are trash.

Mihaj and veseli are both defenders who can play those back positions with ease, they have proved it with their club..changing the formation is not only to accommodate roshi and grezda, it is to accommodate the needs of the team. I bet we’d all sacrifice memushaj and one of the two forwards to insert two wingers be it in 5-4-1 or a 4-5-1

For the nt you can make a STRONG argument that roshi has been 10x more valuable then muriqi would be if he played for us...but they are different positions so the comparison is weird, keep in mind strikers need service to score and with lenjani uzuni or trashi on the wings and some pit bulls in midfield muriqi would be useless
That's a weak ass argument. Roshi's been shit. It's laughable that you guys hype him so much.

Do you even watch the nt bruv, without roshi we don’t even cross the halfway line let alone get anywhere near the goal..he contributes directly to over 80% of our goals

Anyone saying that Roshi has been shit for the NT can't be taken seriously lol. Guy produces every game.

Only arguable thing about Roshi is whether he's better as a super sub.

He is. He needs to come on around 60th minute to expose tired fullbacks. He can come on fresh with 30 min to go and utilize his speed and energy to torment slower/tired fullbacks. It's the smart decision.

If he plays from the start, he gets tired and loses some of his speed, plus the other team adjusts to his style. Teams rarely ever game-plan for a substitute player so if he's not starting, he can slip in unnoticed and do damage.

The thing is that the game might already be lost by the time he comes in.. we can’t get anywhere near the goal without roshi so we are basically hoping our team doesn’t concede until he comes on which is unlikely and also not the right way to approach meaningful games in my opinion
