Albanian Teams in Europe 21 - 22

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

The crazy part is normally albanian teams get embarrassed and part of it is they always lose half of their team before the competition start because they’re clueless on how to build competent squads. This year Teuta kept their squad in tact and added some reinforcements and got embarrassed by a Moldovan team. It’s extremely embarrassing. I really don’t have much hope in Partizani of the second round of conference league qualifying because they lose a lot of their players from last year as well.

The fact that Albanian teams constantly get embarrassed is laughable. The Albanian league has probably got weaker than it was 20 years ago which speak volumes on how bad Duka has been. All these clubs are extremely mismanaged. Managers getting sacked after a few weeks, half the squad getting replaced after one season, players not getting paid, poor youth development, etc. There really is no hope for Albanian football.

Duka been rewarded with a place on UEFA's board, just shows how corrupt football is head to toe. The fact that Albanian football seems to be the only place left in Europe operating like this is a perfect example for how our country has developed over the last 20 years

Before the match Partizani was a 2 goal favorite. Albanian clubs never get these kind of odds in Europe. Definitely a shady match.

Of course UEFA won't do anything to investigate and punish them.
Thanks to Skenderbeu we can never enjoy any of our clubs wins any more.
Sadly I agree. Partizani's goals 1, 3 and 4 seemed suspect. Especially the 4th one which was a pure backpass by the Moldovan defender. But then again stupid goals like that happen all the time e.g. Spain's own goal vs Croatia

Kallaku benched for Teuta today.

Keep in mind that this guy made the NT just because he went abroad... Now he's not even good enough for Teuta.

I haven't watched more than 20 minutes of last game, but Kallaku was by far and away their best player in that time. I don't think I saw him misplace a single pass. Everyone looked like donkeys by comparison.

It wasn't a good idea to throw in a player who just arrived 2 days ago into the mix anyhow, but this coach is throwing crap at the wall at this point with 0 organization.

Ernest Gjoka is perfect example how far you can go in albanian football as asslicker. All his life has been as FSHF and Armando Duka spokesman. I feel bad about Shkendija they got demolished by slovenian village team but they don't deserve better when they hire such frauds.

Prishtina is a respectable team. Obviously lack talent but they try to be professional and no shady business.

Uzuni was just too high level for them.

If there is anything about Uzuni is that he loves playing against Kosovar teams and punishing them. First the NT and now the 2nd best team, Prishtina.
