Wow I would love that. And honestly, we should win this group.
Yea, we should win but you never know with this team. Since we're not playing Russia, we should schedule 2 quality friendlies in June, preferably against Asian or African teams that qualified for the world cup. Also read that there was a chance for Turkey to get promoted to our group, but I don't see that happening.

What I'm worried about is that even Italy can't even break down small teams. We talk about "professionals" but they have the cream of the crop in that league and won EUROs with it. But 1-2 injuries later and they can't even break down Macedonia. That's how reliant they were on some key people to win.

If Italy can't do it with Jorgino, Verrati, Chiellini, etc... what chance do we have playing the same way? Not to echo Princ too much here, but if we don't have the technical ability to break them down, then we have to use some physicality/long balls.

Our issue is never small teams. Our issue is facing bigger teams in which we constantly get embarrassed in. We aren’t even competitive against big teams.

Against small teams like Belarus, Albania generally plays how every other nation plays against them.

The Georgia game exposed us though. If the other teams wants to defend, we have 0 chance.

Against bigger teams it's a mentality, not a tactics issue. Those bigger teams play much more open.

Why do fans act like Albania is blowing “smaller” teams out of the water?

Hardly won Nations League C group, taking 1 point from Lithuania. Could not score on Andorra at home until referee stepped in. Draw Georgian “scrubs” in Tirana, who had a valid penalty claim.

If it was not for that washed up has been from the Turkish League (4 goals, 222 minutes, 3-0-0 with him starting), Albania plays Nations League C again this year.

The other super professionals are killing it..

Don’t you get it idiot , if we struggle against small teams , struggle against big teams then why the hell do we carry on with the same coach.

Cika did good in that nations league group but please stop trying to push your narrative that somehow playing guys in crap leagues is a better thing

Some of you guys are acting like football should be exact math. In reality anyone can get a result against anyone in a single game. Upsets happen all the time but it's the overall standings at the end that show the quality difference. The better teams usually win groups, leagues, and titles at the end even though they "stumble" a few times during the journey.

Albania winning that Nations League group is a good example. Sure it wasn't pretty but Albania had more quality than Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Belarus so eventually it came first.

Having better players than the opponent increases your chances. It doesn't guarantee you anything.

How is it Reja’s fault that Bare and Hysaj take turns serving up goals on a platter?

Nobody on here wants to bench these guys, so why keep blaming the coach?

I guess Liverpool should've benched Steven Gerrard before his mistake cost them the league title...

Or yesterday Chelsea should've benched super highly rated Edouard Mendy whose blunder pretty much knocked them out of the CL...

What is this logic?? LMAO

And with Hysaj you can argue that it is Reja's fault since he keeps letting Hysaj dribble. :rrokullisem:
