Two shots on target. Lol
Iceland's stats are actually more impressive offensively.

My ratings
Reja 1/10 - Somehow managed to lose 2 points against a terrible, amateur side. The Iceland we saw today is no better than Andorra, in fact dare I say it Andorra have been more competitive against us the million times we've played them. Left Asllani/Bajrami/Vrioni on the bench, Subbed in Balaj/Ramadani/Veseli to chase a late winner, says it all. FSHF puppet. It would be better if any of us managed the NT.
Berisha 5/10 - One of his typical shaky and nervous games and nearly cost us a goal at the start.
Djimsiti 4/10 - Mistake costing a goal.
Kumbulla 6/10 - Pretty good marking their striker and won some headers and duels.
Ismajli SV - Didn't do anything of note.
Hysaj 5/10 - Sluggish, poor defensive marking and didn't offer much going forward. It is sad to see him play like this.
Abrashi 7/10 - Best on the pitch, very energetic, great ball carrying and had many successful descents down the wing winning corners, one forcing Seferi's goal. Fell in the 2nd half.
Gjasula 6/10 - Great passing but some errors in marking due to being too slow. Still, the best passing midfielder starting today.
Cekici 5/10 - Did nothing but take 'nice touches'.
Balliu 7/10 - His energy and pace is so important in pinning back the opponent and getting us up the pitch, if we had played him against Poland we might be in the WC today. Good job Reja.
Seferi 6.5/10 - Scored. Poor first half other than that but didn't mess up as much in the 2nd half with the ball.
Cika 5/10 - Nothing.

"Nuk është çështje skemash, por se nuk ishim." - Edy Reja
This man always puts the blame on others and never on himself. My brother you barely scored vs Andorra and San Marino, Georgia and more without Broja doing something crazy. You have no scheme. f*** off out my country

Reja mentioned why Roshi didn't play(injury) but said nothing about Bajrami.
Since when did Albania have the luxury to completely ignore 11+ million players with 13 goal contributions in Serie A?
And why isn't the media demanding him to answer?

Barely winning..?RedFootballs wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 11:05 pm But at what cost is 'the job done'? Barely winning a weak group in Nations League doesn't mean anything itself except provide excuses for FSHF to continue down the same path and renew 78 year old Reja.
A continuation of the same old incompetence and nepotism because we won a weak group, like last time in League C? A continuation of Superliga players starting over Serie A talents? A continuation of Balaj being crucial to our football?
No thank you.
Do you expect to just blow these other teams away as if we were the best country in the world?

You have such a looser mentality. We’re clearly the better team on paper and if we didn’t have that senile handicapped coach this game could be won easily.Princ wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 12:05 amBarely winning..?RedFootballs wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 11:05 pm But at what cost is 'the job done'? Iceland is literally a team of amateurs. Not only does their team have no notable players, but also you'd probably have to go back several years to find their last win against an opponent in the top50.Princ wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 12:05 amBarely winning..?RedFootballs wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 11:05 pm But at what cost is 'the job done'? At this stage we are clearly better than them on paper and on the field and we should be showing that, not being grateful for draws. Despite having far better talent than the previous years we are not moving.
With this attitude we aren't gonna win the group at all.

You are too ambitious..Simboli i Diellit wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 12:07 am You have such a looser mentality. We’re clearly the better team on paper and if we didn’t have that senile handicapped coach this game could be won easily.
It was first time in history that Albania has left Rejkjavik with a point, yet you claim that we have not improved and are demanding Reja be sacked.
Matches are not won on paper. Be happy that the home team did not take 3 points tonight, as they dictated the tempo in the second half and created dangerous chances. Do not forget that the visitors deserved a red card after the fullback interrupted counterattack with a foul from behind.
Albania will be favoured to win in Tirana. We will come out strong in front of the fans and have put ourselves in line to take 4 points from Vikings. It seems like not enough though, as the experts here expect us to run over higher ranked teams in their own backyard!
