Bajrami looks different player, Asani is being decisive every game, super goal will help Asllani also with his confidence, Mitaj is only 19 and is playing as veteran for most of game. There is so much room for improvement and we should not suffered as we did but very happy for Muci who deserved this goal. Of course there was many negatives in every game we played under Sylvinho but most important thing we are collecting points.
He proposes an attacking and positive game approach. For once we are trying to use the quality we have, keep the ball and work it into attacking areas regularly.

We dominated Moldova and by the looks of it they are no joke. Maybe these Italian coaches really fucked us up because we are looking better than we have for many years.

Cika should retire. Muci deserves an opportunity - what a goal. Instant impact. What a find Mitaj was.

I would probably give the young guys a chance to shine to be honest. Start Muci Bajrami Asani, with Broja up top. Might as well go for it.

Stiven Shpendi might be a big talent too.

This new system highlights the talent of all the players. Mitaj, Muci, Asllani are very high level. Even Bajrami finally plays in his natural position. He doesn't even do that at his club.

Uzuni can actually be good off the bench. A lot of energy against tired defenses... He's better a sub than a starter.

Problems: Cikalleshi(should never get called up again), Berisha (shits himself like always)
Reja couldn’t understand the concept of balance in the team and having some width and pace to open the game. He had Hysaj and Trashi as his wingbacks who were the only source of width in the team due to the narrow formation. You can’t expect Hysaj to be your main source of play from the width. Forwards of Cikaleshi, Balaj and Manaj all slow and useless.

The new manager has atleast implemented some width and pace in the lineup. Even a guy like Asani (who is a meh player) looks decent because he has some width and pace in him. The game looks much more open now. He seems to be good tactic wise.

But that being said I don’t like him benching a guy like Asllani and with him playing guys like Cikaleshi, Seferi and Ramadani. This works against Fraoe Islands but it probably won’t against Czech. I hope he doesn’t have a hard on for Asani like how former managers had their amateur favorites.

Overall, he’s been decent but it’s hard to rate him with the amateur teams we’ve been playing. September will really decide who he is as a manager.

Lol, in other words, Albanian managers discovered the concept of a winger.

Moldova just beat Poland while being down 0-2... Faroes beat Turkey last year.

Besides a few (San Marino, Gibraltar) there are no easy games. Anyone can be competitive. Even Luxembourg and Malta are competitive now.

But I think everyone is more optimistic with the play and potential than the results. Even in the loss vs Poland they showed good signs.

That's definitely true. But for about 10 years now, Albania really hasn't had issues with the teams beneath them.

2016, we got all our points against Armenia. 2020, most points from Andorra and Moldova. Fluke draw in the end, but Albania was already out by that point. 2022, all points against San Marino, Andorra, and Hungary.

It's good to get these victories for sure. But it's nothing impressive.

True, but the important thing is Moldova are taking points off other teams..

So we have a direct increase on our rivals just by beating Moldova.

I would also argue Sylvinho's style of play is proving to be more positive and encouraging than that we have seen before - also by his use of players and profiles, pace and dribbling is being reintroduced and he's trying to bring out the talent in our best players.

Did anyone see the Moldova highlights. 2 Moldovan goals came from Polish defenders fucking up passes.

But we would never take advantage. Those chance would probably fall to Cikalleshi or Uzuni.
