If Sylvinho manages to pull this miracle off it will be more impressive than what any other coach has done.
If Sylvinho can pull it off, it would be special that he did it in his very first campaign coaching the team. That being said..

To beat out the accomplishments of Gani Abazi, you need to do some serious climbing up the rankings.
That would be a better achievement than what Di Biasi did, because Sylvinho didn't get a free win against Poland or Czech Republic.

Broja is the key. This guy was the reason Reja even had job. Single handily got us 6 points in qualifying vs Hungary. Imagine we had that firepower upfront compared to the old cika we have now.
Kumbulla was just as big of a factor during those Hungary wins + locking up Lewa.

If you think about it, Kumbulla and Broja almost qualified Albania to the WC on their own. All that was needed was a home win against Poland and who knows what would happen if Broja started that game.

Ismajli had a period last season where he played well but he's a wild card. This is a few days ago and Ismajli was at fault for both of their goals:

Albania started EURO 2016 campaign ranked 70th (14 August 2014) and within a year found ourselves ranked 22nd (6 August 2015).

A single win over Serbia does not push you almost 50 spots up the ranking. De Biasi made history on the back of wins against Portugal and France, and draws against Denmark (x2) and France. Win awarded at Serbia just pushed us over the top.

It will be near impossible for anyone to top Gani Abazi..

You mean, we wouldn't have qualified without the win at Serbia.

The win at Portugal was amazing but qualifying ahead of Poland or Czech Republic is also a big feat in Sylvinho's first campaign, added to that, without 2 key players, and without a free win at Serbia. If it happens of course

Sylvinho after 3 campaigns may make us better. Let's see

Albania only lost one match (friendly vs Italy) from September 2014 to August 2015. Wins against Portugal, Armenia, France. Draws against Denmark, and France.

That stretch Albania was super competitive and was able to dog it out against any team in Europe. It was a time where everyone got behind them and they were literal rockstars for that stretch of time. I don’t think we’ll see that energy again from the fan base and team alike. It was just a euphoric time. Amateurs like LIla became a hero lol

As for the Silvio manager moral losses do not count. I don’t care if we lose to Poland 1-0 in which we played well. He’ll have to prove it against the better teams in Europe and results against Malta don’t count.

Absolutely well said. The ''Ballist Morina took us to the Euros'' theories and that type of bullshit are beyond disgraceful.

Albanias group was tough as shit back then. Portugal who won the EUROs, Denmark, Serbia and Armenia. Armenia was the "San Marino" that had Mkhitatyan in its prime.

Czech team looks solid but not that great and they are missing some key players too like Barak and Schick.
