Albanians abroad

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

Gruda started playing for Germany youth teams as 14 year old, it's obvious expectations were so high for him and that's why he didn't switch to play for his uncle squad. Players who were born abroad, especially England, Germany, Italy, France or Spain they will always have first choice those countries, we got lucky with Broja and it's not gonna happen often. Gruda has his right to make his choice but it's crazy how Rudi Vata is asked in every interview about his son and why his son doesn't play for Albania while Armando Cungu is U19 manager and it's his duty to convocate most talented albanians, nobody asked yet why his nephew doesn't play for Albania?

^ Not only Broja. Asllani & Bajrami too. It's totally unacceptable for these former footballer's kids not to play for Albania.

Imo, if Asllani would've chosen Italy, there'd be so much more pressure on Inzaghi to give him more play time.

Arijon Ibrahimovic played only 15 minutes today and those minutes were enough to show that has world class potential. Gruda is really gifted but Arijon is different level. I don't know how Frosinone managed to get so many talented players on loan but it was obvious for me that it's matter of days when Arijon will become starter and probably most important player.

Don't count out Marvin Cuni. Today he won a penalty by using his pace and then doing the Ronaldo chop.

Players like him and Broja have crazy potential if they figure out scoring because they have other advantages over defenders.

What's happening with Anis Mehmeti? He's completely fallen off the radar, spending the season mostly on the bench at Bristol, with limited mins sub appearances. He seemed a promising player, another good alternative on the wing for us. He needs to change teams and play more.

Messi 🦁 Busquets 🦁 absolutely dominating the MLS..

Argentinian KING 6 matches, nearly 400 minutes, 1 goal to show for it. Got blanked by FC Charlotte last night!

Inter Miami spent boatloads of cash to acquire superstars but winless in last 7. Still bottom of the table above only TFC, other team full of legends!

MLS too physical, too fast! Superstars go there and finish last!

Wrong thread to post this but the counter to that is that Messi was going to play limited minutes and he prioritized Leagues Cup to get into CONCACAF Champions league over MLC Cup
and Miami were dead last when he joined. There are also CONMEBOL WC qualifiers that he's playing in and scoring for fun. He just scored 2 against Peru this past Tuesday.

Marvin Cuni wins a penalty for Frosinone.

I also noticed there's an Albanian "Ibrahimovic" there. 17 year old midfielder, played for German youths.
