With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

Bosnia is shittier than us in football. Get real. Same as Macedonia. The only thing I'll give props to Macedonians is mentality. As for sports, the difference is that a lot of poor young men go into all sorts of sports in ex-Yugoslavia. Look at their olympics rosters.
Did you know one of the greatest footballers of all time is Bosnian? Does the name Zlatan Ibrahimovic ring a bell?
Bosnia has produced great basketball players. Ever heard of Jusuf Nurkic? He was a first round draft pick in the NBA. Mirza Teletovic was also a really good NBA player.
Bosnian born guys have been great tennis players! Marin Cilic for example won the US Open in 2014 and went to final Wimbledon in 2017!

Albania literally produces nothing noteworthy in sports, it has nothing to do with DNA.
Why do Slavic countries in general produce more talents?
Harder working people with higher IQ than Albanians..
Lmao, after you're done trolling, go read up on Albania's history and how it was isolated for 50 years from the rest of the world, and how Yugoslavia was the most open communist state under Tito who played both west and east (similar to how Serbia is doing today). Albania was in a vacuum like North Korea is now.
But those days are gone. By the last census figures, Albania has almost reached Serbia/Montenegro per capita economically and has surpassed Macedonia and Bosnia. Only thing they have leftover is their sporting culture from those days, which Albania unfortunately never took seriously.

To me the only "genetic" difference I've seen in sports is obviously black people being able to run faster and jump higher. But that's legs only. In strongman competitions it's mostly white people.
Between Europeans themselves there's very little difference genetically. Balkanites are not that different genetically either. Albanians, Greeks, Romanians have some Slavic genes, and South Slavs are also heavily Balkanites/Southern European, they're not pure Slavs. That's why a lot of them are swarthier than Polish or Russian people.

They invest in sports, which is the opposite of what Albania has been doing for the last 20 years.
That's a myth. A lot of countries invest but don't end up as successful. Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan invest millions but they will never be as good as poorer countries like Serbia, Croatia and the South Americans.
Its a combination of genetics + culture/mentality. That's the key to success.
you think a country like Uruguay invest?? Hell no. It's just in their blood and mentality. I saw them against USA yesterday and their striker Darwin Nunez was sprinting like a maniac on defense and tackling in the 83rd minute. In a match they didn't even need to win. No investment can teach that. You either have it or you don't.

Are you for real mate? I live in North America. Yes, I have I'm taller than all of them.
Only difference between us and those places is they sent their tall guys into sports, we sent ours to be corrupt politicians.
Serbia had the tallest team at the World Cup!
You are trying to tell me there are no genetic differences between them and Albanians?
Do you know height is not just genetics? 20-30% of height is literally just down to diet/exercise. That's why South Koreans are much taller than North Koreans. That's why Dutch people were midgets 100 years ago, and now they're taller.
And "team height" is all down to the style of football you play. Spain has one of the basketball teams/leagues, but they still put short people on the field, simply because their style is very technical/on the ball. Serbia are not that technical.
