Even the Albanian's team of Decici Montenegro competes better than the Superliga teams in Europe.

Vllaznia scored a pen in the 85th minute and all they had to do was hold on for a few more minutes..... and they conceded a minute after. It would've been a huge upset to be fair because the Iceland team looks much more professional and fit.
Egnatia and Dinamo advanced at least but it will be super tough for them to qualify. Dinamo also just sold their best players.

Vllaznia fought well, they got a tough draw. Nice to see the other two teams advanced, but as Dallku says, Dinamo just sold a couple really good players for them, right before these games, so it doesn't look like they are prioritising this run much.

Albanian owners have zero ambition. They just sign cheap African players and sell as soon as they get 300 or 400k for their best players. Albanian teams will never be able to qualify in Europe for as long as the owners will run the team for a profit, which is such an absurd thing to do in this weak of a league, but its what happens.Simboli i Diellit wrote: Thu Jul 31, 2025 10:11 pm Even the Albanian's team of Decici Montenegro competes better than the Superliga teams in Europe.
In reality Albanian league would do much better if they signed some of the fringe NT guys who are floating around Turkey 2nd division, Croatia, Macedonia etc. A 'new Skenderbeu' can easily be created, but it needs an owner to bankroll it to get started (they would surely make the money back in future).
Albanian owners and Albanian football in general doesn't have that type of vision though so we will not see that happen.

This Hajduk vs Dinamo is a great game. End to end! Dinamo has to be the most modern Albanian team in the way they play. High press and direct. You don't see many Albanian teams run this much.

Daja is a great coach, but it won't matter. They already sold their 2 best players to Ukranian teams. (In fact this Itodo guy is not even called?)Dallku wrote: Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:47 pm This Hajduk vs Dinamo is a great game. End to end! Even if they miraculously survive Hajduk, they'll be kneecapped next round.

Hilarious goal gifted to Hajduk. One amateur moment overshadows 65 minutes of decent work.

Hajduk has ex-Milan players like Ante Rebic, while Dinamo has construction workers, and sold their 2 best players. Bad luck of the draw tbh.

They have Pajaziti too who's playing well for them. He's not the strongest physically and defensively but he seems very good technically.Aurora Bulkualis wrote: Thu Aug 07, 2025 10:53 pm Hajduk has ex-Milan players like Ante Rebic, while Dinamo has construction workers, and sold their 2 best players. Hajduk are one of the best teams of Croatia and many good players played for them, to be competitive with them is a great sign, literally just shows what can be done with just a bit of willingness.
