Kosovo will continue their quick climb up the FIFA rankings!

If this NT break showed us anything, it’s that you really can’t underestimate anyone anymore..

The gap between European nations is not very big at all..

Anyone can be live to pull off an upset!

Football nowadays is much different than even a decade ago..

Teams know how to play tight. It’s not easy to score. Just a single lapse of concentration can decide the game..

Kosovo has learnt from its mistakes in the past. I think the Rashica and Zehgrova experiment of playing together is over. They will try to slow down the game down and make sure their backline is protected.

They also got some huge additions in Avdullah and Hajdari. Both look like studs. The young left back has played really well for them and has been a big upgrade over the guy they’ve been playing for the past few years.

These good results help for Kosovars to stop being fanboys of other nations (Switzerland) and worshipping players who represent other countries. Granit Xhaka has gaslighted people into believing he's the second coming of Adem Jashari while being Switzerland's biggest ambassador. Players like Muriqi are the true ambassadors.

Albanians from Kosovo (not Kosovars) always supported and continue to support Albania. The only time they supported Switzerland was when Switzerland played against Serbia.

Neither Zhegrova or Rashica are fully match fit, but it's very good that Kosova isn't dependent on them anymore and neither Amir Rrahmani, the change of formation more than anything after the trashing Kosova conceded against Switzerland has helped the defence and midfield alot, Kosova might not create as much chances as it used to with the 433, but playing three CB's at the back puts less defensive duties on someone like Vojvoda who is very weak defensively.

They also support Switzerland in any euro or World Cup tournament but much of it is because of the history Switzerland has in the past 15 years of fielding many Albanians in their lineup. So I do get it.

And let’s not act like Albanians don’t simp for other national teams. The Italian and German national teams were treated like rock stars in Albania.

But I do think it’s starting to change. The simping has cooled down I think since Albania actually qualified for two tournaments.
