Gjimshiti has already 4 caps for the National team and if i could i would exchange him for Mavraj any day. He is not a good passer and often passes the ball back to the goalie. At fault for one of the Serbia goals .

Those were the team's fault. When you push that much, you best not miss.

No matter who you have, you can't cover 4 guys with 40 meters of space to work with.

I am big fan of Mavraj but i don't think he was good as Berat when he was only 22. Gjimsiti mistake costed us game against Serbia but against Denmark when he played as right back, his passing was very accurate,

+1. IMO, the only thing Mavraj has over Xhim is passing (which can be useful even from defenders).

Besides we all know if DB just parked the bus against Serbia, they wouldn't have scored, especially with Ivanovic and Matic out.

Someone wrote in the comments PAOK are giving Kace a new contract so if he does well at the Euros they can sell for quite a bit. That is interesting because Kace has 1 year and a half left on his contract so it could be true

I fear that Kace will have very limited time. As grateful as I am about De Biasis accomplishment I still feel that there should be more pressure on him to protect our very few talents. Lets face it, at some point De Biasi will leave us and we will have to start from scratch again in picking the right formation and players.

De Biasi has done a great job in creating a family like unity which makes everyone sweat to their last breath but our team must also be open and transparent for other players to come in.

To De Biasi's defense he's gone out of his way completely re hauled the roster. The only players remaining from before his reign is Cana, Agolli, Lila, Salihi, Bulku and Roshi. Some of these guys are just on the NT based on merit at this point.

In the past Kace would probably be starting without a doubt but we now have a much deeper player pool and it comes down to the coach's preference(Defense). GDB always talks about "Balance" in the midfield and he seems to be a bit stubborn when it comes to selection there. For example Kace will never play in the deep holding role because that position is for Kukeli or Basha exclusively. I think DB likes Memushaj in one of those spots because he's more physical and can be a box-box and maybe that means Kace is Xhaka's alternate? IDK.

One last thing Kace isn't the only player that was left out. Lets not forget Gashi years past when he was in good form(not so much anymore). That was even before Cikaleshi, Lenjani and Balaj emerged as being OK options.

Sadiku scored today. 5th goal this season and it seems Sadiku will fight it out for Swizterlands top scorer. If he continues like this he will surely lead the line in France. I've always thought he was our best striker, so long may this continue.

A tap in goal which is the only goals our strikers can score. At least Cikaleshi is a more complete forward and has the ability to test the keeper from a distance. Alot of people think Avdijaj is the "saviour" but I don't even think he's going to be the answer for the tournament finals either as we get too hyped with him. Are we really gonna put all our eggs on a arrogant teen who has a mediocre scoring record in Austria?

Rashica is a team player with Vitesse. With the u-21 he plays on his own.
