With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!
If Cana retires after the Euros i hope Mavraj becomes the imminient captain. He is loved by the fans and i hate when the captain is the goalkeeper . Berisha doesn't fit the profile, he doesn't have leadership skills.
If we are not considering quality of play than even Lila deserves a mention. And a strong one too. The bravest Kavaja has to offer. And obviously will somehow play always so that's a given
I think Xhaka, Mavraj, and Kace should be the three candidates. Xhaka is a hothead but he's a warrior, and I think his fire would make the team better. He would lead by example and expect the same type of fight from everyone else on the team. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with either of these three. I think Kace can grow into the role, and be more vocal as he ages. Mavraj would be more of the quiet leadership type who embodies quality and class. I don't know if that's what this team needs.

Kaçe has no captain qualities whatsoever. And after listening to him in broken Albanian I'd definitely not consider him
Mavraj is better. When he tries speaking official albanian he has some lacoons but i've listened him speak kosovarshe dialect and he is very fluent. EZfWwkoy3bo
