Albania at EURO 2016

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

He would lead by example and expect the same type of fight from everyone else on the team. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with either of these three. I think Kace can grow into the role, and be more vocal as he ages. Mavraj would be more of the quiet leadership type who embodies quality and class. I don't know if that's what this team needs.

Kaçe has no captain qualities whatsoever. And after listening to him in broken Albanian I'd definitely not consider him :)
If i am not wrong Kace attended only elementary school but if you watch him playing football gives you impression that he is very smart guy.

Lila is a good player. Obviously it is not his fault the manager plays him on the wing. It's like Zableta playing on the wing for Man City.

Hysaj, Kaçe and Xhaka the only players who should be considered for me.

Playing smart and having leadership qualities are two different things though. When I think of the model captain the ones that come to mind are Carles Puyol and John Terry. Lorik Cana is the perfect captain right now and none of the current crop of players can fill his shoes. If you combined Mavraj and Xhaka you'd have the perfect replacement. Maybe we can have co-captains.

Kace is too small in stature, is not articulate and speaks in broken Albanian. Hardly fits the bill.

I already said that i don't like Cana as player but i loved him as captain, probably is best captain in Euro's. I am aware that Kace is probably worst candidate to become captain and i am convinced that he never will be our captain.

Berisha to me is the logical choice. He's one of the current leaders of the team and for us he's very outspoken on the field. He's also very diplomatic as well and he's been solid for the NT. Very likeable guy too.

It's sad to see Cana go and he still probably has one more qualifying campaign left. But good for him on leaving at the right time and unlike former players like Lala, Skela, Duro, Bulku, etc, who were playing & getting called up until their late 30's when they had no business being capped. Opens the door for new players.

If Agolli is forced out it's gonna be an end of an era. We're in a good position for the future.

Really like the new jerseys. Don't really trust FSHF thou. Is the guy from Alban football still about? Is he even involved in this? Mind you I'm going Albania again this month. Maybe is better there.
FYI for those Albos in UK. If you are not aware I've been using this airline twice to go to Albania via Ohrid. Only a few hours of very pleasant drive.
And these are the prices we are talking about. Madness. I know Plako will be scratching his head :D

Berti, you can pre-order the new jerseys from Albanfootball.com and I think also from FSHF, but I'd go with the first one. ;)

Thanks mate. Was thinking the same. Just saw Albanfootball and I like those guys (I'm guessing it's plural although only remember Alban)
Since I'm going to Albania I'll see there first and order from them if I can't find it there.
Would never pay towards a Duka account.
