Muriqi is a better player than Broja imo.

Broja is good for Albania because our counter attack has historically been so awful that teams push their line high against us and we cant break it, ever, so plenty of space appears on the counter, he is good at running into it with his physical parameters.

However, he isn't really good at anything other than 1v1 dribbling prowess and long shooting. He is extremely good at those two things but not good at much else. He has a lot of development to do.

Muriqi participates in the game a lot more whilst scoring around the same or more.

It will be interesting to see who finishes with more goals. Keep in mind that Muriqi's teammates cross him the ball all game... (while Granada is absolute ass)
Muriqi main skill isnt goals though, he is one of the best duelist strikers in the world.

For a team who lacks possessions, his skillset is invaluable, he is an excellent outlet for long balls.

I don't think anyone will question that. Muriqi is clearly the better striker right now but they play different roles so not a fair comparison.

Muriqi may be more well rounded at the moment but I’ll take AB any day of the week and it’s not even close!

AB has the physical to be the best player in the world, but he struggled with the mental pre-injury. Going through such adversity should only improve him in that aspect.

I will never forget how he absolutely carved up Spain in that friendly where Albania was unlucky not to leave with a result. High risk, HIGH REWARD player!

You have to gamble sometimes..

Muriqi is better aerially but that’s where it starts and ends.

He has to be a monster in the air because he can’t play with his legs. Very one dimensional and you can only play one way with him. 100% depended on teammates (unlike Broja). That’s why there are levels.

Difference between Broja and 95% of all strikers is that Broja is literally a threat in his own half. That’s an insane advantage

Muriqi is better at your target man stuff, much better. But he’s also 29 so you’d expect him to be better than a guy who’s played 2 seasons of pro football.

Everything else though ? Dribbling , finishing, speed , it’s not even close . Broja is better.

International football though ? Muriqi is a top top player, his goal record is good and every team needs a guy like that you can just throw balls up to.

Broja with time will develop that part of his game once he slows down with age, but for now he’s the fastest guy on the pitch, why would he limit himself
