You were right and a lot of VIPS in RA are falling in his category nowdays.

shakohoxha is a retarded fuckface who cant even speak proper albanian. what he used to say was stupid af but what he says now, a lot of people think it too. idk if he saw the light or is simply talking out of interest and tbh i dont care. some of us think these things about KS/RSH independently of what the donkey thinks or says

Shako may be annoying but surely he is not a hypocrite. People changes and many Albanians have become more selfaware and patriotic the last few years and it is only natural.
It would be the peak of stupidity to downgrade one's patriotism just because he was never tought to be a patriot (parent's failure). If one opposes this, then we could write off 99% of RA Albanians from being patriotic, because nobody was so in the first 10-15 years of post-communist transition.

So please leave aside RA Albanians, I would be much more concerned about the severe identity crisis of Kosovars.

That's BS, we were taught to be patriots by Hoxha's regime (Shako came of age during those years) but he simply saw the light when the money started flowing in largely from the increased interest in the NT which was became a vehicle for unity (prior to Kosova getting its own team). Finally someone gets it.

Digitalb/Supersport thrived because of the NT. Of course a strong NT is welcomed by all Albanians but obviously some are using this nationalistic card for their self interest.

^Not Shako though and definitely not majority of those advocating a union. Maybe at the beginning a lot of people may have had an utilitaristic reason to accept Kosovo Albanians, but it has definitely evolved into something more.
Albanians are starting to know eachother thanks to tourism, internet, friendship and so on.

Plako, it was a fake kind of patriotism, a Marxist form of patriotism (if such a thing could even exist).
And it become apparent when confines were opened. Albanians emigrated like nobody else, but we hardly had any real reason to do so (at the beginning nobody admit it, but if you insist they will admit it). There are much poorer countries than Albania but they hardly emigrate, in the other hand Albanians emigrate because they love to trashtalk Albania and swim in their victimism.
