That was legitimately a world class assist by Gavazaj. Latifi just had to slot it in. I had hopes that he'd be a major talent with Gent years back, but he obviously fizzled out.

If he can reach even half of his potential, he'd one of the best, if not the best player in Superliga.

Maybe in European competitions, but overall nah. They're just an average team. Not bad, but many teams have much better players that would knock them around in the league. They can't even win Albanian league.

DZ has players that cost more the entire team of Skenderbeu.

2 seasons ago DZ beat Skenderbeu 4-1 with 10men. Now you can definitely see the improvement in Skenderbeu. I don't know DZ well enough to say they are a weaker side now than before or if it's the same team.

I think Shkendija will go the same way as Skenderbeu, be top two or three in the domestic league and will get more experienced in the European games. We are nearly there, just the quality of opponent in the Play Off round is really high compared to round three.

Didn't catch the match, but from the highlights, Skenderbeu was killing them with the most bast attacking move there is. Props to Daja.

Gavazaj cuts inside from the right with the ball, and the forward slips in between the center back and left back. Gavazaj just gives a basic through pass around the left back, and the forward is home free.

The CB is supposed to mark the forward there, but DZ's defending was amateurish.

Didn't they beat Skenderbeu 5-1 a couple of years ago in the CL qualifers?

and you can argue that Skenderbeu had a better team on paper back then than they do now. They had what they have now + Bernard Berisha, Olayinka, that guy that transferred to the Portuguese league, Shkembi...

This goes to show you how important experience is.

Dinamo are still favorites though. All they need is 1 goal.

I hate Skenderbeu but massive props to them for being excellent in Europe. Best Albanian showing in Europe since Flamurtari's glory days.

Completely forgot that with this result Skenderbeu goes through. Maybe they should just play on the counter.

DZ will go forward, and leave spaces behind, plus less chance of conceding goals.
