The only thing Sylvinho did well this time was start Balliu over Hysaj. Balliu was solid this game. Everything else was a fucking disaster.

Respect to Broja, Hoxha and Asllani. They fought hard and dominated Spain in big parts. Just unlucky.

This tournament felt like a big charity reward for players like Manaj, Asani, Seferi, Hysaj and even Bajrami! Their (heavy) minutes did way more harm than good.

It's so annoying. This guy had a little success and then turned into Edi Reja by playing his friends and favorites. Completely blew a historic opportunity.

I don't want to see Hysaj on the field again as long as Balliu can still walk.

He did it in the qualifers as well but he got away with it because we were scoring so many wonder goals (along with VAR disallowing opposition goals) that it didn't matter. Don't you remember against the Czech republic we were getting dominated and down 1-0 then all of a sudden Bajrami scored that crazy goal in the second half to get us a point and to save the qualification? Or when Poland is dominating us (with several VAR disallowed goals) then all of a sudden Asani scores that crazy goal giving us the leaad? Every manager will look like a genius if you get 1-2 wonder goals a game. But obviously it's not sustainable.

Then his lack of tactics really got exposed once the wonder goals stopped coming in. He's obviously an upgrade over Reja (who is by far the worst manager I've seen) but his lineup choices, lack of tactics and slow adjustments makes me dislike him as a manager. Good luck trying to beat Spain with Manaj and Asani.

Hysaj should have gotten the boot after the Italy game.

Balliu is a pure defensive minded player. Hysaj is a pretty boi.

Just goes to show when we play the right players at the right time and play an aggressive pressing counter attacking style we are in good position to score against probably the best team in the world.

We also conceded 4 goals across the entire qualifier.

Sure he made some mistakes this tournament but to act like his success has been just luck is completely ludicrous. Don't forget he scouted and brought in Asani precisely for his qualities of cutting in which fit the tactic he devised.

We played well this tournament, even though we could have been better, it's not totally negative, we showed a good level of play and we can learn from some of the mistakes made.
