Agim Zeka looks like a very talented boy. He is from Prishtinë so i may ask around and see if anybody knows much about him. Very interesting player.

His parents were quite angry this summer because he didn't find space at Skenderbeu and was training with youth clubs at the point that wanted to move him elsewhere but Skenderbeu has signed with them previously a 5 years contract sealing his destiny at the club. Someone else won the pk against Germany and the vice coach Demollari was screaming "leave the pk to Zeka" . He is one of the three 18 years old from Kosove Skenderbeu scouted and signed contracts with last year. He is destined to play for Albania just like Latifi. The club def influences their choice and has helped a lot pushing them in the youth teams.

B. Berisha was scouted by Skenderbeu at a young age, and he still left for Kosova. There are no guarantees.

Yea, because Di Biasi flat out rejected him.., He was even making himself available through social media and the journalists but still no interest. What do you want the guy to do?

Actually B Berisha was asking to play for Albania even when he was getting callups from Kosova . Noone valued him, just like Beqiraj.

That's our problem. We don't call up players when we have the chance and when they already become established players they accept call ups from elsewhere. We have to cap them young. Every other nation does it but we're too arrogant and we think these players(who are already better than most of our current players) need to do their time or get first team action. Some example Rashica, Zeneli, Berisha, Avdijaj, Hadergjonaj, Tarashaj, etc.

We probably got lucky that we capped up Hysaj when he was playing for Empoli in Serie B. He may have been starting for Italy in the Euros if we he waited enough and assuming his career took the same trajectory(I think he benefited alot from our NT).

Do you think that Ndoj guy is good enough for the NT currently?

I have followed Ndoji actions with Roma in Euro Champions League Youth Finals and in Serie B . He is good enough to be at least in the 23 man squad but he is what Kace was at his 19th , "i papjekur" in some interventions but very good in holding the ball , distributing it, unlike our midfielders (bar Basha and Kace) he has a nice touch.
His rating vary from 6 to 6.5 in his last matches bar the one that he got two yellows (the ref was too harsh on him) .

NDOJ 6,5 entra al 71' per Martinelli e la squadra mantiene il suo equilibrio, ha dei bei mezzi atletici ed un discreto tocco di palla. """"

Can anyone tell me why albanians clubs are so allergic in kosovar coaches? Albania league had 200 foreign coaches in last 20 years and had only one kosovar Naci Sensoy :D

None of the Kosova coaches had the UEFA Pro license til lately. Bilbil Sokoli was close at signing for Kukesi fews years ago. Naci Sensoy is Turk :p

Btw there have been more Serb coaches in superliga alone than albanians coming from areas outside of the republic. No albanian from Albania has coached in Kosove either though ;)
