Why would he go to Kosovo. Isn't he from Presheva?

Kosova doesn't have well defined borders so for the same reason he's playing for Albania he could switch to Kosova.

Yeah I know he can legally but I mean why would he. I can only seeing him doing it to get back at Albania which would be a big risk.

As for for identity, people from Presheva from what I know don't really identify themselves with Kosovo.

If i would be in his place i would switch . He wouldn't switch to get back at Albania but because he would have a guaranteed spot at Kosova. The harmony between him and our NT (coach mainly) is broked. Presheva is Kosova, there weren't borders until 90's even with Ilirida so even Aliji could switch if he wanted to.

I am not sure that Djimsiti will switch to Kosova beside the sadness he is a professional player and understands that he didn't do enough to secure the spot for Euro's. Only to our team has a chance a player who played only 3 matches in last 6 months but he is young and definetively he can improve a lot in future, Serie A is a school for defenders so i believe he would be important player in future for Albania.

Mavraj is our best defender and from what i saw games of our national team, nobody performed better than him because we lacked organisation and in terms of tactics we were awful as sunday league team. I don't think that fasting would be problem for him , many muslim players coped with that, in terms of confidence being religious is advantage.

Loool Balaj the bomber. That will alwayd make me laugh. And also Roshi the Albanian Bale thing is very true. Their is a jokes mentality around our national team with these shit analyst and commentators. Balaj and Cikaleshi were recieving praise from the commentators in the Qatar game as if they had just come off a 60 goal season. Roshi doesn't even merit a discussion after his disaster of a season, he may aswell have booked a holiday during the season to be fresh for the euros as he never played.

Rashica, Hysaj and Xhaka were probably the three best Albanian players this season and Rashica couldn't even make the 23? Unbelievable. Rashica for me this year was the best Albanian player in the world, and then to think he is only 19, man how did he not make the squad. England called up 18 year old Rashford who just made his debut this week for them. So pissed about Rashica.

Dude we are taking injured players in the euros. Xhaka is 1 of our best players but he wont be 100% for euros. Kukeli wont be 100% fit either but we still took him. Any other nt no matter how good they were or wat they contributed for they wouldnt get called up. That says it all. Im not even gonna talk about players that dont get any minutes in their clubs cus its too many of them but yet they still make the list. Just sad man. This list is a joke.

There is 0 chance Gym will play for Kosova. That is a pipe dream. I can see guys like Veseli & Ajeti switching, but Aliji and Gym will stay with Albania.

There is nothing in the rules that allows him to switch to Kosovo. People still don't understand Albania had to set a precedent in court for ethnic Albanians to play for the NT. He can try hiring 10 million dollar lawyers to try, but other than that I don't see on what legal basis he can switch.
