Not a Laci fan but I gotta admit he was the only one trying to press yesterday. He ran more than a lot of players combined. Manaj and the wingers don't press at all. Shehu also did well getting stuck in and stealing the ball at times.

One moment I think about is a fresh Ramadani comes in and was manhandled physically by Vlahovic who had played 88 minutes prior to that. Uzuni went to help and get the ball out but that was so embarrassing.

Maybe they would've missed too but if you look at Asllani's pens at Inter he does a little run up and then stops for a second to bait the gk and see his body language. He learned from Calhanoglu who's a master at pens. That's a clever/advanced way of taking them. I would be scared of Broja taking them because he doesn't have that kind of finesse. Forget about Manaj who deep down everyone knew he was going to miss.

There are fans who say it's just luck and who cares because CR7, Messi, etc have all missed pens. Well the difference is that those players have also done good things unlike Rey.

In 10 years with the NT and over 40+ caps Manaj has never scored a big goal against a decent team. You really think he was going to start against Serbia? That's who he is. His club career will tell you that too.

Every other striker has done it.... Broja gave you 2 wins against Hungary, Balaj against Portugal, Salihi against Norway, Sadiku against Romania and Israel, Bogdani many big goals, etc...

The worst part is if you're going to be an amateur you atleast need to have a high work rate like Andi Lila who atleast was pressing and had fight to him. Manaj is an amateur in every single aspect. He's lazy, get's bullied by bigger defenders, has no technical skills, can't finish, etc. Awful player stilling living on the fact he "played" for Inter 10 years ago. The worst thing is he'll score a tap in against Lativia and he'll be in the lineup again in the fall. Amateurs like this always get a second, third, fourth chance.

I hate this guy with a passion and I hate the media/FSHF for enabling this amateur. My entire life I've seen them enable these amateurs as some kind of bombers and prolific goal scorers and it always costs us.

Albania doesn’t score many goals in general..

Vedat Muriqi is not much better than the guys Albania has produced over the years but Kosovo plays an attacking game and it’s easier to pad the stats that way.

Albania is more like Greece in this regard. Greece is a good bit better than Albania but doesn’t have many big time scorers either.

Kosovo plays a Yugoslav style..
