Vokrri and Bunjaku are just following orders from their government(who are following orders from higher powers like USA and EU). The Kosovar government is eager for their sports institutions to get recognized because of the reasons Vata10 mentioned and more. Anyway, the have completed half of their mission now that Kosovo has been accepted into the Olympics which is HUGE.. the rest will slowly follow eventually.

When it comes to people "wanting" unification I believe that's totally overblown. Lets be honest, nobody really cares about it. If the people wanted it more politicians would use it as a propaganda tool but they don't, simply because there is no sincere interest in it.

It's fine if Kosovars play for their team once its recognized, but I don't see the point of splitting apart the NT if they don't have an official team yet.

I understand that but it is not as if i stand up for the governments. f*** Thaçi and Mustafa, both of them are traitors and would sell their mothers to be in power. Put someone like Albin Kurti in power and see if he will follow the orders of the west which do not benefit us, ofcourse he wouldn't.

As for unification, the governmebt have worked so hard to opress this topic and make it sort of voodo to talk about a bashkim kombëtar and still the majority of people want it. You can't fight will.

Like i said before, when Vetëvendosja go into power this will all change.

Sports are a great advertiser for a new country's image and Kosova can get a very good team together. No one should feel butthurt and no one can be blamed.
Yea ofcourse people can be blamed. Vokkri and Bunjaku especially. If they were really patriotic and cared about our sport they would of tried to convince Januzaj and others to play for Albania. Anyway they won't last as both of them are complete amateurs.
What difference could Vokrri & Bunjaki have made on Januzaj's decision, if Lorik Cana with all his reputation couldn't do shit in this aspect. And how would Januzaj playing for Albania help the development of the sport in Kosovo? For the matter what has fshf done for the good of football in Kosovo in the last 17 years or for the same matter Albanian clubs? You rather would have an isolated Kosovo and one NT instead of Kosovo having the possibility to get Uefa and Fifa donations and develope the sport?

As for the unification, you do know that the feeling has to be mutual both sides. Right now it's a sure thing the majority in Kosovo would want unification, but we can't know how the feeling will be after it gets and runs fully independent.

Lots of youth players do not pan out and fail at the senior level. The main reason is that the game changes drastically from the youth level to the senior level. At the youth level the players play mostly for the love of the game, whereas as the senior level you are dealing with grown man who put food on the table by playing the game and will not hesitate to break your legs.

I followed Freddy Adu's career since he was 12 yo. He dominated at youth level until he was 14-15 and then made the jump to MLS where defenders were getting 1/20 of what he made. He failed miserably. He is now not even making the roster of the second division Tampa Bay Rowdies and getting paid $30k/year.

I remember there was an issue with him and our federation which lead to us blackballing him for any future nt call up.

The bigger disappointment was Gavazaj. I really thought he could have been something good.

Benjamin Kololli from Young Boys could be another decent addon to the team during next qualifiers.
