Well cant leave balaj out tbh, he deserves the euros just cus of that winning goal in portugal... I no he sucks but those 3 points qualified us. Just dont call him up after the euros. Honestly im for whoever contributed to fill the list and if any1 gets hurt bring in rashica.

Yeah that win in Portugal was huge. Had we not won that game we'd have not qualified so in a way Balaj deserved a spot in the 23 man squad. My problem with Balaj is that he doesn't bring anything extra from Cika for example. Berisha is a poacher and he'd be an upgrade over Salihi, another poacher. Manaj is young but it'd be nice to give him some tournament experience even if he doesn't play. Calling him up would be like Jurgen Klinsmann calling up Julian Green to give him WC experience. Having said that I don't think GDB is bringing Manaj in, barring any injuries, and Berisha is down with the NT.

Lmao "holding on to power". The guy probably makes like 200 bucks a month and spends all his time online cussing at people on facebook while complaining to his wife about her making fasule over and over.

At least him and Bushi are doing a lot of work with the grassroots outside of the U21.

Any evidence of the work they've been doing?

This is a joke GDB calling up players like Roshi and Balaj cause of the Portugal game. Yea if it wasn't for that game we wouldn't qualify true, but by that logic that is the same as Greece coach Otto Rehhagel calling up the same players that won the Euros for them when they had younger players and they completely choked didn't qualify for the 2006 world cup which they should of. Got embarrassed at Euro 2008, failed at 2010 world up and so on all because they used the same players as Euro 2004.

They've started a grassroots academy of many diff age groups in Tirana. And they're also building some brand new fields/training facilities with FSHF and Veliaj. I don't think that academy will produce even 1 NT sub, but at least they're taking initiative, and hopefully we see more similar projects pop up.

I'm still skeptical but I have to give them credit for taking the initiative. Hopefully they start producing some talents but this whole setting up academies unaffiliated to the established Superliga teams is BS.

Why a joke man? They contributed throughout the tournament and got us qualified. Theyre still young only 25yo and its not like theyre totally useless. Its not fair to leave them out for some1 else. Plus who would u bring in instead of them anyway? Its not like we have sup talents out there that need call ups. If its 1 player that should come in its rashica.. The rest manaj, avdiaj etc havent proved anything to earn a 1st team spot nvm come to euros.

According to Telegrafi this could be the 26 selected players by DB

Without Rashica and Meha.

Portierë: Etrit Berisha, Alban Hoxha, Orges Shehi
Mbrojtës: Andi Lila, Elseid Hysaj, Lorik Cana, Berat Gjimshiti, Arlind Ajeti, Mërgim Mavraj, Amir Rrahmani, Ansi Agolli, Naser Aliji, Federik Veseli.
Mesfushorë: Taulant Xhaka, Amir Abrashi, Herolind Shala, Burim Kukeli, Migjen Basha, Ermir Lenjani, Odise Roshi, Ledian Memushaj, Ergys Kace.
Sulmues: Armando Sadiku, Sokol Cikalleshi, Shkëlzen Gashi, Bekim Balaj

Probably Rrahmani, Veseli and someone else (hard to tell) will be left out.
