They come back but Ventura is worse than DB . He was playing cattenaccio against Israel but Italy's players are one level above everyone bar Spain in our group. With Basha in we are starting to see some ball at least althrough they are way more relaxed by the 2:0 lead.

Italy is not impossible. I can see Albania getting at least one draw against Italy. But Spain is fvcking impossible. "Tactics" and player selections can only do so much. They don't make Roshi look make Gareth Bale.

A very very painful game to watch. Miles apart in quality. Can't compete with these lot. They don't even have to try

That's what pisses me off, is that obviously Spain is worlds better than us a soccer team. 2 x Euro champs and WC winners. But our guys looked scared from the moment they were singing the anthems for FFS. That is unacceptable to me for a team that's coming off their first major tournament...

At this point I fully expect Spain to tap in a 3rd goal last minute as our players put their tails between their legs.. It's been a shameful display tbh.

IMO if it wasn't for berishas mistake there's a big chance it coulda ended 0-0

You still keep talking about results. I'm talking about gameplay. Not just this game, but DB's entire stint with us. It's fucking cowardly.

If you give a good showing but still lose due to individual quality, that's different to cowering and getting destroyed.

If it wasn't Berisha, someone else would have fucked up. You can't handle 90 minutes of pressure.

Btw ironically this loss came from errors or some of our best players(Berisha and Hysaj). Berisha always had trouble with his kicking and Hysaj plays too calm for his own good often.
