Of course I'd like to see Rashica, Avdijaj, Zenelli, etc, called up but who knows if that will happen for one reason or the other.

Seriously dude? Hyka should be written off the NT picture completely. He is just not fit to play in GDB's system or any system for that matter. Gashi was twice goalscorer of the year in the Swiss league, if I'm not mistaken, and he has not produced much for the NT. What makes you think Hyka will be better than Gashi? Btw Gashi scored too last night.

Hyka is a just a poor man's Skela and we had that discussion already. I think Gashi can still be useful but Hyka should just be written off.

I agree with that. Let Hyka rest in peace. If he becomes top scorer in Switzerland, maybe we'll give him a call up.

Hyka is the biggest flop of Albanian football imo. I remember watching him for the youth teams and he was amazing.

His transition from youth football -----> men's football was brutal. He couldn't dribble or get past anyone anymore.(I've seen CBs outpace him in duels ffs). Playing scared(mostly passing backwards and sideways). He just looks like a slow little kid playing with grownups. For the u-21 and below he looked like Messi, unstoppable.

Having said all that, we can't completely close the NT door for him because it's not like his competition is any better. Gashi and Lenjani are just as trash, Roshi is weird but mostly bad, Lila is a defender..

They're still miles ahead of Hyka. Not to mention there's other youngsters(as mentioned above) like Rashica, Ajeti Junior, Avdijaj.

So does that make it 5 Albanians in total at Peskara now?

All the players you mentioned, despite their faults, have shown they can handle the real men's game. Hyka does not have the mental fortitude which is why Lila will get called up over him 100% of the time.

This guy might be sort of interesting: http://www.transfermarkt.com/hysen-memo ... ler/337980

"sort of" because I saw his video and he looks like he has soft feet which is rare for Albanian players. That automatically makes him interesting in my book. :rrokullisem:

He's tall too.

Red flag is that he's 24 and hasn't had much of a career so far but he started in Hajduk's last game so he might be something to keep a half eye on. His position is pretty significant too(LB).
