I'm glad I was wrong about Doka.
He's no joke.
He’s been playing well in Croatia this year for a team that’s in 2nd or 3rd place. He was probably the best defender in the Superliga last year. He’s not a terrible player
He definitely looks like starting material but it's a dilemma because Hysaj is way better on the right than on the left(even though he plays on the left at his club)

Wish we could get Strakosha/Kumbulla/Djim/Ismajli altogether at least once. The more comfortable we are in defence, the more we can push forward.

It's unbelievable the body language of Balaj, clearly looks as not interested for the game. Similar impression i have for Kallaku who was sleepy and uninspiring today. Gjasula should start over Kallaku against Belarus.

I think our main problem with these games is lack of energy. That's why Abrashi shines. He gives it 100% every game. This where we miss a captain like Cana.

He's not without talent but Kallaku always looks like he goes for a walk in the park. He's supposed to be a creative player but creates nothing too.
Gjasula is less technical but solidified the midfield when he came on.

Gjasula offers nothing. We lost to Lithuania who hadn't won a game in 4 years. He only looks good because teams rarely pressures DM and he has free space.
The second Lithuania pressured him, he folded completely. Kallaku can actually dribble out of pressure and push the gameplay forward. It's not a coincidence we won our first game at AK today.

Kallaku was messing up easy 5 yard passes without pressure today so idk how he's so gonna dribble out of pressure. He's a turnover waiting to happen.
Everyone folded against Lithuania but Gjasula provides that much needed calmness in midfield and he's a big body who will get stuck in and win the ball too.

Kallaku moves game play from midfield third to final third. Gjasula moves game play from defensive third to midfield third.
There is a reason we look incapacitated without 2 offensive midfielders. Even with bad playing Memushaj/Kallaku we created 10x more chances than Gjasula in his best day. We missed so many chances today, but created a ton.

Predictable victory.. Kazakhstan offers minimal resistance. Our lot of bench warmers gassed out and couldn’t apply any meaningful pressure past the hour mark.
Kallaku is weak as piss and completely useless.. he showed why he’s playing on the (tied for) worst team in the Croatian league.
Berisha is a joke and a mistake waiting to happen.
Uzuni is a useful, hard working player with a bit of pace, who brings intangible value when on the pitch.. but a clinical finisher he is not.
Cikalleshi with his 6th goal in 8 matches (dating back to last qualifiers), and is now one off from tying Sadiku’s mark (7 goals in official matches).
